Toad is a character from the Thomas & Friends stories, and is Oliver's trusted brakevan. Among other episodes, he can be seen in "Toad Stands By" from the Thomas & the Special Letter video and "Emily's New Coaches" from the New Friends for Thomas video. He was originally in the TWR line from 1998 through 2002, but is returning for 2006 only before "returning to the sheds" for more rest.
