I can't see completely by the pic why you'd want to change the facial area, BUT I remember the days when I had perms and the body-type perm you have and the facial area drove me bonkers. What about having them layer the facial area - layer it towards your face? Would that help not make it look so "chaotic" to you? I never found an easy way to make that area look nice for me. It does look great on you, though!
