why i want a GTO - family meets hot rod

omg this car makes me drool...and im a FORD guy. this is my 3rd choice of new car if id ever buy a new car.

1. new stang GT

2. Dodge Charger

3. new GOAT.


the charger actually ranks high in the safety and family charts. but the GTO is over 10k cheaper.

not that id ever consider buying a new one....this just makes me a believer you can have safe family car....mixed with the old fast hot rod....and not give up anything.

I was watching a show on HGTV last night, showing the new model cars for '06, they showed one by Chrysler, I believe, that looked and has similiar features of the ever popular (for celebrities, and the wealthy) Maybach. If I ever became weathly that would be one car that I would love to have. But since Chrysler is making one that is far more affordable (only in comparison) that may now become my new dream "luxury" cars.




It is true for the literal sense of it. Fathers adore their children.
But true especially if you have girls.... They take daddies money.

ahem, as a proud owner of a Charger, that statement is absolutely true.

The whole reason I started looking at them was because of the safety ratings and I would have been happy with the 6 cyl but boy am I glad now DH insisted on the Daytona!

I will admit that GTO is one cool car though!

id never get the charger in a V6....too big and heavy car for the V6 imo.

That's exactly what my son, John would have asked!!!

My motorhead excitement runs to fire trucks, naturally. I had a ride in a Dodge Daytona in Daytona last year... it was hot! Of course it didn't hurt that the driver was a stunt-racer and was in awe of firefighters.
