Kirstenmumof3 replied: NOT ME! I get anxiety in crowds and shopping on December 23rd almost did me in. I can't even imagine how I would handle the crowds today! I did get a $50 in mall gift certificates so I will probably go towards the end of the week. I need to get a new phone, my cordless has finally bit the dust. I have a hard time dialing certain numbers like 1 and 2. My friend said "well it would make it awfully difficult to call 911" she's so funny!

C&K*s Mommie replied: what is Boxing day??? is that a Canadian holiday, or that another term for the 'day after Christmas' shopping day??

kimberley replied: i thought boxing day sales were all across north america . duh! ya, it is supposed to be the best sale day of the year with all christmas stuff up to 75%off and all other stores put on big sales. stores open at like 8am and the line ups to get in are INSANE!!!

coasterqueen replied: I had thought about going and usually do every year, except last year when I was on bedrest...BUT I have decided against it. Or at least I didn't go this morning. I may go later this afternoon. DH and Kylie went down south to pick up his niece and we are supposed to open gifts with them later. Megan's sleeping and I'm trying to clean up this tornado that went through but just don't have the umph to do so.


I have a pretty good stack of stuff to take back and really want to get it done today though so maybe I'll do it much later this afternoon. I also have to get so "organizing" stuff. Hopefully it will be better then.

MommyToAshley replied: I wanted to go today, but my brother gave me a cold for Christmas. I feel aweful and don't feel like going out.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I had planned on going to Wal Mart (for pedialyte and batteries) and to the mall to pick up our family picture we had taken and let Maddie use her gift card at Build a Bear. Of course we didn't get to do it b/c Ethan woke up so sick. I didn't really need anything and hadn't planned on spending any money anyway. No big loss for me.

Oh...I did want to go to Old Navy for one specific thing, but I found it online and bought it there CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. I'm sure our Old Navy would not have had it anyway.

TeagansMom609 replied: I was out shopping at 8 am this morning. Only because I dropped Shawn off at work and I was right by the mall area. I went to Target first and it wasn't that bad at all when I first got there. It was 9:15 by the time I left and the Christmas section was starting to look like a riot in progress. LOL. Then I went a few other places and they weren't that bad. I wanted to go to the mall but didnt get there. I have to get ready to go to my in-laws for their Christmas dinner. This holiday just never ends!

coasterqueen replied: Well I decided to go but after DH got back from down south at about 3 pm. We basically did returns and shopped for organizational items. It always seems after Christmas we find better ways to get organized so we did that.

I still have a few returns but it wasn't that bad waiting til later in the day.
