where do you sleep?
C&K*s Mommie wrote: Strange questions, but I am just curious. Are you a sleep in the middle of the bed person? Or at the very top, do you have to sleep closest to the wall, or on the side closest to a door?
I sleep in the middle of the bed, no matter what lately. We co-sleep, so I may have a few inches to have for my arm between the girls, and my head is by K's feet. C sleeps crooked and kicks poor Chris in the head most of the night, until I move her. All three are bed hogs. Even if they are not in the bed with us, I still tend to gravitate to the middle with my feet hanging off the bed. I never liked my feet hanging off, but it is a habit now. I prefer to sleep closest to a door, but since rearranging our room the other day, I am sleeping nearest the wall.
1lilpeanut2love replied: My SO and I sleep in the same bed. Obviously! LOL. I sleep near the door and he sleeps near the wall! We both sleep to the front of the bed at the head board. Kay sleeps in her crib in our room!
ashtonsmama replied: Not too strange of a question, Nicole! Ryan and Ashton and I all sleep in one bed (well actually Ashton starts out in the baby bed attached to our bed and usually moves in to nurse throughout the night)...it's been working out so far, we'll see what happens when the new baby comes.
b&bsmom replied: I sleep near the door because I am the one that gets up if need be. What is funny is I found that I sleep on my side one way and then when I am ready to really fall asleep I turn over and then if I get out of bed I always have to get back in bed facing the opposite way of when I got out. It is weird .
C&K*s Mommie replied: LOL
luvmykids replied: I'm kinda like Judy, I lay on my side until I'm ready to go to sleep and then I have to flip over to my tummy or other side. I have to sleep nearest the door too, no matter where we are or if the kids are there or not. DH usually falls asleep on the couch (and I leave him there ) I sleep so much better alone in our king sized bed! Plus between the kids and dogs it ends up pretty crowded anyway.
Edward's Mommy replied: I have the crib backed up to my side of the bed. I sleep with my back against the crib and Edward sleeps between me and Chris and Chris sleeps closest to the door because the front door is right next to the bedroom door and Chris keeps his baton there (he used to be a cop).
3xsthefun replied: Our bed is like in the middle of the room, but I am the closest to the door, and DH is closest to the bathroom.
I always have to sleep on my belly or my right side I can't sleep any other way.
gr33n3y3z replied: when ed is home at nights I sleep with my back to the door and on the edge of the bed When he is working I sleep facing the door
MamaJAM replied: I sleep on the right side of the bed (facing it from the foot). I can not sleep on the left side -- I need to sleep on my stomach with my right foot hanging over the edge.
luvbug00 replied: I must always sleep closer to the door and windowand closet. ( just try getting my baby robber ) Mya sleeps by the blank wall..LOL
Mom2BNTN replied: Postion wise: I start out sleeping on either side, but usually end up on my stomach. My Dh starts on either side also, but can sleep on his stomach or back. Dylan of course sleeps on his back, but sometimes will roll over just ever so slightly an lay on his side.
Side wise: I sleep on the right side of the bed closest to the wall with Dylan's bassinet right beside me while my Dh sleeps on the left side of the bed by the door.
My3LilMonkeys replied: I am the exact same way!!
I sleep on the side by the door (more convenient to the kiddos) and DH sleep on the side by the bathroom.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: We have a king sized bed and both of us sleep at each end, which is funny, since we have all the space in between. Just habit I guess. I LOVE to sleep on my back, but because I'm PG, I sleep on my side facing the door with one of those maternity pillows...hate it! I always like to be facing the door though.
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I have a king size bed and my side is the 3/4 of the bed closest to the window Dh sleeps nearest the door and I get the window and the bathroom I guess is technically closer to me though only by inches. AS for position...what ever position I can get into comfortably and as the belly expands the bed is getting softer and softer (i have a sleep # bed so not totally weird ) and I am finding myself either on my right side or my stomach with one of my legs bent kinda under and next to me.
A&A'smommy replied: I have to sleep on the right side and I sleep all over the bed
Crystalina replied: Same here and for the same reason. I'm a very light sleeper so if someone comes in I'll be the first to know. We usually co-sleep with Evan and Izabella's toddler bed is right next to ours but for the past 2 weeks she has been in our bed becuase of the stormy season. Which leaves me....ON THE COUCH! There is room in our bed but I get a foot up my nose and a toe up my butt (thats nice visual) plus I'm always up until about 2 or 3am so I've just been crashing on the couch. DH isn't too happy about it but he insists if she's scared she sleep in the bed so...I'll just have to visit the chioroprator this week.
kimberley replied: closest to the door and never in the middle!
Brias3 replied: Well, sometimes the answer to this question for me is the couch I often can be found having fallen asleep there watching T.V. at night if my husband is gone. When he's home though and we're both in bed, I try to stay on my side but apparently am a bed hog and crowd the middle
