wheew what a weekend

we went to cincy for the weekend
friday we wnt to a fossil park, and went swimming at the hotel

saturday we slept in and then went to the cincy museum (it was hot and very humid out so we decided to be inside) did 2 of the museums there, that's a really neat place. even got the family pass so we can go back and do more, its not that far away. did more swimming in the evening.

sunday slept in again, was going to go to zoo but it seemd to hot out for that so we went to the waterpark next to Kings Island called boomerang bay. , then swam more at my sisters house.

the beds at the hotel were soooo comphy.

now we are back to noral day to day and I have more laundry to do....oh well it was a nice family weekend.

Kaitlin'smom replied: they have an omney max theatre, a science museum, childerns musem, that Human exibit, another museum (but I dont remember the name) galleries and tour of the old train station.

the pics are at home. Yes there are tons of things to see there, infact we bought a family pass and looks like we can go to the boonshoft with it for free, not to mention tons of other places, which is great. There kids museum is similar to boonshoft but IMO I like it better, seems to be less confined. I took pics in there so I will post some for you. I got board at boonshoft but did not at this one. and we still did not see it all.

Really? Ashley loves the Booneshoft, it's one of her favorite places to go. It's nice that it is so close too, but I wouldn't mind checking out some place new. Maybe we'll give the Cincy Museum a try. We get into the Cincy museum with the Booneshoft pass as well, so it'd be free. We just have to find a day to get down there... I hate their traffic...uggh. If your pass is the same as ours, you should get a discount at the zoo too. It doesn't list it on the pass, but you get 50% off (just fyi).

mom21kid2dogs replied: Ohhh . . .thanks for the link, Di! Our children's chorus is singing the National Anthem at the Red's game on Aug 4th and we're thinking of doing an additional day in Cincy. I think our COSI pass might get us in there, too!

it might casue it looks like our pass there will get us into cosi, which I am sooo excited about I LOVE that place and have been wanting to go back.
