what do you use to dust with?

sparkys2boys wrote: I have tried every polish in the world I think and still haven't found a good one that I love. Right now I am using orange glo and its ok but I find the smell very strong and if you use to much it stays kinda greasy kwim. What does everyone else use? I hate when you dust and ten minutes later you can see it again.

mckayleesmom replied: Im suppose to dust? ohmy.gif

CantWait replied: a damp rag, then a dry rag.

Really there's no difference between dusting spray and the other. happy.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: I use the swiffer dusters (okay DH and Kaitlin use them, if I dust I suffer the next 2-3 days) only on occasion will I use polish.

grandma replied:
I've used Pledge, but mostly the damp rag/dry rag method.

HuskerMom replied: I use Pledge too sometimes, or swiffer dusters.

A&A'smommy replied: I use windex blush.gif

Jamison'smama replied: I use lemon pledge--I don't like the Pledge with conditioners (white can). I use orange oil about once a month to get the shine back.

AlexsPajamaMama replied:
me too windex multi purpose is great stuff

sparkys2boys replied:
on wood to? I would think it leaves it dull?

Calimama replied: I use a damp rag as well.

Boo&BugsMom replied: Pledge Multi-Purpose....but to save some $$$ I might go the damp rag method now that I know quite a few people use that way. Never thought to do that. The water doesn't make the wood all warped hey?

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I used to use the sprays, but like you said, the smell is always too strong for me and I actually heard it isn't the best for your furniture. I also hate using aerosol cans (bad for environment). So instead I just use one of those dry duster swifter things. They actually do a pretty good job picking up the dust, since I think the paper thing has some type of static cling to it. It has also helped us to take off our shoes whenever coming into the house. Less dust, I've noticed.

Our Lil' Family replied: Pledge wipes

3xsthefun replied: I use some off brand kind it is kind of like Pledge. Can't remember the name now.

My2Beauties replied: YOu guys are gonna die laughing at me.....Lysol or Clorox Wipes (I use those for EVERYTHING) blush.gif

moped replied: Norwex enviro cloth

luvmykids replied: I use a good feather duster every few days (if you have a good quality one, it actually does pick up the dust instead of moving it around, then you take it outside to shake the dust out). Once in awhile I use the extra moisturizing Pledge to get the shine back.

CantWait replied:
Nope, just wipe it off with a dry clothe right after. thumb.gif

My3LilMonkeys replied: DH's whole family uses water & pine sol and it works really well. I mostly use the swiffer duster things.

:.Mrs_Mommy.: replied: I use the swiffer dusters. They seem to work pretty good.
