what are your kids doing - while you are on the boards?

Just curious. In the AM, I usually get them fed, and they are eating b'fast while I get on. In the afternoon, they are napping (like now) when I am on then.
Then late at night, of course they are sleeping.

luvmykids replied: Just depends. When I'm on for a chunk of time usually DH is home or they're otherwise occupied, like sleeping or TV time. Today they've been playing really well together in their rooms (off and on lol)

But I'm usually on and off PC throughout the day for quick glances and the computer is in the den so even when I'm on they're right here, doing play dough, playing with beads or coloring. Those are the only activities that keep them entertained for any length of time!

booey2 replied: I am on mostly throughout the day because I am at work. in the evenings the boys are usually doing homework or playing same as on weekends.

Tylersmommy replied: right now he's napping but when I'm on earlier in the morning he's usually either watching a movie or sitting on my lap watching me type lol

mckayleesmom replied: Depends...Sometimes they are playing together on the play carpet, playing with the dog next to me, napping, sleeping at night...sitting here with me looking at all the parentingclub kids pictures, or watching a cartoon.

Kaitlin'smom replied: At the sitters, I am usually at work shhhssshh dont tell. Ocasionaly I will be on during the weekends or at night then she has DH or is asleep.

JP&KJMOM replied: During te day I am at work so they are at school and daycare but in the evenings they are usually playing upstairs or watching a movie.

Momof3inMe replied: Well during the day the boys are in school while I am on here and Em plays well for the most part and my computer is in the living room so I can see everything thats going on.

Jade is usually napping or playing with her brothers.

5littleladies replied: I pop on and off all day so my kids activities vary. Sometimes they are doing schoolwork, sometimes playing, sometimes watching t.v. You name it and they've probably done it while I've been on the boards.

3xsthefun replied: I'm on throughout the day checking the boards. I usually get on in the mornings after Kaitlynn goes to school. Maegan she is usually having her breakfast by then and then watches a cartoon.

In the afternoons she is eating her lunch, playing, or watching another cartoon or movie.

I don't get to get on in the evenings to much since DH usually gets online. Now we have the lap top I have gotten on some during the evenings. They are usually playing, or hanging out with their daddy if I do come on here.

In the mornings, I come on here before I get him up. He wakes up late, so I have plenty of time.

During the work week, I only come on in the mornings, or while he's eating lunch, then I don't get a chance to come on until he goes to bed, around 8:00.

During the weekends or holidays (like today) I get to come on here more, because he takes a 4 hour nap! Right now, he's sleeping and it's 2:30...he won't be up until 5:30...so I have plenty of time.

My3LilMonkeys replied: Well right now Brooke is watching Cinderella for the millionth time and Madison is chewing on some toys.

Our computer is in the living room so they are usually right here with me or I come on after they go to bed.

holley79 replied: Annika is usually either in my lap or in her bouncer when I get a chance to get on here. Right now she is downstairs in her bouncer "talking" to DH.

Only because I use my laptop and she BANGs on the keys and pulls the cords out. She isn't very computer friendly yet and instead of yelling at her for it I jsut don't put her in the situation.

MamaJAM replied: Most of the time when I'm on here -- only the boys are here (the girls are at school). And I wait until they are either playing, napping or eating. When all the kids are here - I only can get on when they are all entertained in some way.

3_call_me_mama replied: Depends on teh day. Usually they are either watching a show (about 1/2 hour or less) or they are napping/quiet time (usually when i get to come on) or
Daddy is home and they are buggin him. I dont' come on when they eat cause too afraid that they will choke (had it happen once when Cam was little) or I have to get up 100 times to get stuff.

coasterqueen replied: Well I'm on during the day at work, while they are at daycare. I get on in the evenings usually after the girls are in bed and I've worked out. On weekends I'll peek in here and there and they are either napping/asleep or playing with daddy.

punkeemunkee'smom replied: I jump on and off all day-our computer is in our office but she has several toys in here so she is usually next to me drawing or "reading" a book. Sometimes she sits with me and looks at pictures on everyone's siggys

xKirstyMaex replied: When I manage to garb some time with the computer Kailyn is usually taking a nap-when awake she demands attention all the time and isnt very independant but hopefully she should grow out of that once she can get about a bit more!

fashionmumofboys replied: I'm usually at work when I get on here, and one of my boys attends Montessori and the other one is home with my mom, so I just get on while working.

At home it would be after they go to bed, which I rarely get on anymore at nights. I usually clean up when they go to sleep, but hopefully should be getting back on soon though.

BAC'sMom replied: Playing or watching TV, homework sometimes eating a snack. The computer is in the living room, three fore I can keep a look out for everyhting that's going on.
