what are you thinking of

Boys r us wrote: of buying your little ones for christmas?

I'm stuck!!! Braedon is two...which means, he's too big for the baby stuff and too little for the true little boy stuff...and Tanner, well he's pretty much over toys and is just into his xbox and his computer.
I need some ideas!!!

coasterqueen replied: Hmm, I wish I knew, lol. I expected that most of our family would have bought clothes for Kylie's bday but instead they bought her all toys. She really needs clothes so I really think we should buy her clothes but who wants to just open clothes from Santa? LOL. rolleyes.gif

Boys r us replied: I know!!! Besides, the more clothes they have, the more laundry I have to wash blink.gif

There is this Power Wheels Hummer that we want to get Braedon. It's SOOOO cute!

and Tanner...ughh who knows

But..well, that's ONE present! unsure.gif

ctymom replied: ohmy.gif I'm not ready to think Christmas!! I want my new house so I can have room for the upcoming baby toys. ugh

Pamela

coasterqueen replied: Well Kylie really liked my friend's piano that she has there for kids to play with, but my friend got hers used. I've found them at TRU and they are expensive! I don't think I can fork over that kinda dough for one, lol.

Here's a pic of it: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...v=glance&s=toys

Boys r us replied: Aww, karen..do it!!! That is so precious..you never know..you might inspire her to be a world renown pianist!!!

MommyToAshley replied: I was thinking of getting Ashley a Kitchen set for Christmas. She has just about everything else I can think of. And, then we will probably get her a few small things like books and puzzles so she has more presents to open.

booey2 replied: Well with the boys we are getting a PS2 for them and us to share. With Thomas we will probably do clothes, a disney movie, Lion King 2 will be out or is out now and some Hot Wheels cars. With Matthew we will probably get him a couple of games for the PS2, clothes and other small stuff. Movies are always a big hit with them because they both have DVD players in their computers in their rooms and that is what they do when they go to bed at night, watch movies.

Josie83 replied: We are so disorganised, we haven't even thought of it! wacko.gif We don't have that much money so Cassie doesn't get an awful lot, but I don't like her to have too much anyway because the last thing I want is a spoilt child! She loves cars and colouring books and music, so something along those lines. Maybe some new clothes as well, she practically lives in dungarees, the tomboy! rolleyes.gif Btw Terri, the Lion King 2 is so good if you haven't seen it, Cassie's cousins have it and she always wants to watch it when she's over their house!! xx

booey2 replied:
We haven't seen it yet but the boys loved the Lion King so I thought they would like it.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Well, I was just thinking about this today. biggrin.gif We probably won't buy much since we decided to go away for Christmas. Maddie has everything imaginable, but I'm sure I can think of a few more things to buy. wink.gif Ethan needs some clothes and a few more toys since he is getting to be a big boy now. wink.gif Nothing specific. Sorry I didn't have any ideas for you.

momof2girls replied: Oh my I dont want to think abou tit yet~

loveydad replied: Ohhhhhh I have no idea...

Henry- He wants music stuff and money- stuff for Andriana and Peter. Maybe some dvds if they're out.

Vincent and Kel - they're into xbox, movies, and stuff like that... Vincent likes ickier stuff (Snakes, creepy crawlers) and Kel likes to read and do art. They'll probably get a lot of spiderman stuff because they ADORE spiderman and Harry Potter. I've been reading them the Harry Potter books at night (no nightmares yet, but if they do start, i"ll stop reading them at night).

Tracy - she loves girl stuff - strawberry shortcake, princess (disney), and barbie. She'll get some new barbie stuff. She loves babies too , so she'll get a doll of course, and probably some accessories for her baby annabell and baby born dolls.

Nicky- I'm stumped. He likes blocks..I'll have to just look for something he'll like.

Carter and Clara - since they won't even be a year old its hard to say. I'll just have to look. Carter likes trucks and cars and Clara likes babies.

Andriana and Peter - peter will get stuff that he can use (a baby gym maybe, and diapers, that kind of stuff) Andriana will be a year old by then ! (wow!) and she'll get whatever it is she wants to play with!

paradisemommy replied: i would say sports stuff is always good - maybe a little t-ball to start him off in baseball, or maybe a grow-to-pro basketball - my parents bought taven a little jumper house (one that blows up and you can jump in) and he LOVES it, a bike/trike/big wheel? just some suggestions since we are in the same boat..maybe a railroad set or race track set? a sandbox or water play toys?? smile.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: not to much she has so many toys and not enough room as it it, but I iwll get her some anythign she can learn from and of couse she need some clothes for winter. Oh and her ordiment, I started last year getting one for her first christmas, so that will continue

Alice replied:
My kids played with theirs forever!! And you don't need one that talks and such... a cheaper one with lots of cheap food is great!!

As far as the little boys go, my son has always loved anything with wheels!!

And have you started the Rescue Heroes?? They're action figures, but with no bad guys!! They battle disasters... meteors, volcanoes and so on. They come pretty cheap, some have videos included, and there are some women in the bunch. My son has a gazillion!!

megsmommie replied: I haven't even thought of it yet. Most likely video games. The kids have soooo many toys. This weekend we had to go through them. I donated alot to charity. But, I don't really want to buy any because they only play with them for a few minutes and then they are bored. Not really sure what other than video games to get. sad.gif

3_call_me_mama replied: I am very prous to say this..... we are FINISHED our XMAS shopping, with the exception of picking up a Jumparoo for Kathleen, and some stocking stuff.
Cameron is getting some winter clothes, a train table that comes with the train set and trundle drawers under it, we got an AWSOME deal on it from COSTCO, a lego set (one of those duplo sized 20 piece sets with Dora in it), a dora lap tray thing (it's a saturday treat to eat breakfast while watching TV), a couple board games (candy land and a dora one with colorforms), and a few books and some new art stuff, (water colors, new markers, coloring books) He's really into Dora right now so we might pick up a dvd or 2 before xmas if any new ones come out, he has a couple now but I'm sick of watching the same ones!! rolling_smile.gif

Kathleen is getting a jumparoo, some link-a-doo rattle things and a playmat that they attach to, some clothes, I'm finishing a quilt for her (hopefully it will be done before then.....) and I think that's probably it since she's only be about 3 1/2 months old.

We set a budget and since we were able to get sales and good deals on stuff, we actually are about $100 under budget (including all the family gifts!!)

Cameron's birthday is Nozember 5th so i have to figure out presents twice this late in the year.... so i needed to shop early.... plus the idea of shopping with 2 kids at the holiday time made my skin crawl!!!!
