went to the E.R

A&A'smommy wrote: she puked again and her temp spiked again I went to wal-mart to exchange children’s Advil for infant Motrin and when I got back we decided to go ahead and take her in mostly for peace of mind... I felt SO bad because the nurse kind of got onto me for feeding her in the first place... her not feeling good in was making her tummy hurt. So anyway she is on a strict liquid diet for a day or so... they also gave her a shot of penicillin, a suppository of something for the nausea and some Motrin it was AWFUL she scream... and turned purple and we had to wake her up to give her the Motrin. They recommended pediatlite... and popsicles (or both in the same) and Gatorade and told us to give her another suppository in six hours if she pukes again I do NOT want to do that I hope that it was just because she ate! Anyway you can tell I'm a first time mom I was about to cry every time I had to explain what was wrong with her and when they did all that stuff to her. Anyway we got to see her throat poor thing one side her tonsils was BLOOD red it was awful. Anyway i never thought I would be SO excited to see her temp at 98.1 its such a relief and she feels SO much better! I love my baby so much it was awful seeing her like that!

MomToJade&Jordan replied: Poor Alyssa. I hope she gets to feeling better soon. I have been here, but Jade was only 6 weeks old. She didn't have a fever or anything, but she wasn't keeping anything down. We wound up at the ER as well. It was quite scary. Here's a for you because you do need it.

A&A'smommy replied: She is SOOO much better today she scared the crap out of us with that fever but she has been sleeping most of the day and eating pizza not much though and the child LOVES sprite which is good because I was worried she wasn't drinking enough anyway I'm calm now and I'm enjoying have my healthy baby back... LOL ya'll she is the happiest sick baby I have ever seen she can be 103 fever and wanting to just lay down but still smiling I love her SO much!!
