urgent prayers needed!!

A&A'smommy wrote: A very good friend of mine called me around 10 and asked me to meet them at the hospital to help comfort their baby they had been in a REALLY bad car accident. They were on their way home with their one month old baby girl and some teenagers (and a girl about my age) were drunk and had a blue flashy thing in their car ran a stop sign and they hit them mom was banged up really bad and had a knot on her head about the size of an orange and dad had knee surgery several months back and messed up his knee again both were in a LOT of pain, the baby had a fractured skull and was flown by helicopter to children's hospital in Birmingham Alabama. When I got their both of their parents were there and his mom was already with the baby getting a ct scan I think they had just pulled up with she called. PLEASE pray for them as far as I know they are ok, she was getting a head scan when I left a few minutes ago (had to come home and get some sleep) and he was laid up in a TON of pain thats all I know as of right now.. my heart is breaking for them... when they flew baby Annagayle out she was crying so thats a good sign and another friend of mine thats nurse said that its not a WHOLE lot of concern if its on the back of her head but if its near the soft spot then its bad. I didn't see her very well so I didn't see where it was at... I'm SOO worried about them.. please pray hard for this family. The kids in the wreck were in REALLY bad shape also, but at the same time I'm SOO angry and so was dad.

It's only by the grace of God that we weren't in more accidents (yes, we were in 2) when I was a kid. Apparently, my mother thought she could drive when she was drunk. I thank God all the time that she never hurt anybody but us--she could have never lived with that. And THAT, my friends, is why I never wanted ANYTHING to do with alcohol.

A&A'smommy replied: the latest update I had was that they gave Annagayle a blood transfusion this morning, then she ate 4 ounces and she is doing better. The doctors said that she does have a small fracture but that it is going to heal on its own. She is such a wonderful baby!!

me too I dreamed about it all night last night.. and I"m SOOO tired today, I can't imagine how exhausted Emi and Steven are

A&A'smommy replied: They moved Annagayle out of the PICU into a regular room, she is doing SOO well!!! God has given them a precious miracle!!!

Steven called me about an hour or so again and they were getting checked again. The hospital here is SO sorry they are awful.. they did a CT scan on Emi didn't tell them anything and discharged them, they had to ask what it said and then they said she was ok and asked if they wanted some ice packs and ace bandages. Then asked if anyone who was with them had some motrin that she could take they are getting rechecked now and they said they would let us know something when they knew something.
