update - on my birthday

Lee insists he remembered, just wasn't sure what to do about it. Well we live 20 miles from stores and so we try to be wise about our shopping trips and he was at the mall over the weekend and didn't think to get something. I told him this morning not to waste a trip to get something, just have the kids create a coupon for a promise to... and be creative, or go to the local store and get me some chocolate!!! You can never go wrong with chocolate We shall see.

Also, we shall see if while I am away at work Grandma leaves the cakes alone until after dinner. For Lee's birthday he wanted a pie and a cake. She ate half the pie before any of us were home from school and work!!!

Thanks for all your advice yesterday! I am glad I told them, I really was wanting to feel so sorry for myself, but am glad I don't have to!!!

Yes it is quite amusing. My MIL eats more food than my DH & I put together. She can put away a whole 9 inch pie with four pieces. And must have desert with every meal!!! A sweet tooth a mile long! But hey she has lived to be a relatively healthy 88 years old so who am I to stop her???

Yes Grandma left some cake for us to have when we got home from dinner. For her cake is not as inviting as pie.
