Thanks for updating. It isn't the best news, but like you said it could be worse. We're all here for you while you learn about this hug.gif

I agree, the more specific they are the more you will be able to pinpoint what you can do to help. It sounds to me that if he does have autism that it is very mild. I know a few kids that have that label, but I would not know if the parent hadn't told me.

you are in my thoughts and prayers..
I also tend to think that depending on the case worker that sometimes those tests are very one sided..and kids change so much as they grow..
the need to lable kids now is so big too.
so dont be discouraged.. just use that power you have always found in yourself to keep on going and get informed on how to make this work for you...

it doesnt have to be a bad thing... hug.gif

Calimama replied: It's not as scary as it's probably sounding to you right now. My nephew has aspergers so if you have any questions PM me. hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif

ZandersMama replied:
Thank you everyone, and thats how i keep trying to look at it. He's still my boy no matter what and thats all that matters. And hes here, which is a huge accomplishment in itself.

jem0622 replied: Lots of HUGS. My nephew was diagnosed high functioning autistic. His biggest issue is motor skills. Especially gross motor. He is in high school now, and uses a special tool to help him complete assignments. They plug it into a printer and print all of his work. I think it is the Alpha Smart. Anyway, it has been a tremendous help to him and he has so much more confidence!
