turning car seat? - Has anyone seen one?

Maddy'sMommy wrote: Hi everyone!!

I am now 22 weeks pregnant with a boy!! My husband and I have been trying to register and pick out what we want. My husband is set on getting an infant car seat that unlocks and turns to get the baby out. Has anyone seen one of these? He saw some nascar driver get his baby out of a car and he had this car seat. I have not seen it online anywhere.

Thanks for any help!! smile.gif

~Roo'sMama~ replied: That does look really cool! I wonder how much it is? It doesn't say on the page right now... it just says it's unavailable. I love one step ahead, but I always forget to look there for stuff. tongue.gif

$399.00 Not sure how it compares to other convertibles. I did notice it only went up to 40lbs. I think others have a higher seat weight limit but the seat itsel is a GREAT concept. If I was having more than one kid, I'd have to seriously consider it.

youngmomofone replied: Hah that's cool!

moped replied: I really like that one, but WOW pricey!

luvbug00 replied: oh cool! why didnt they have these when mya was little!!! LOL!

A&A'smommy replied: very cool!! We paid almost that for Autumn's car seat which was RF up to 35lbs and ff up to 65lbs which is IMO better for cost otherwise you are going to have to buy a new seat when the reach 40lbs.

msoulz replied: Now if only someone would invent a car crib...

Maddy'sMommy replied: It does look cool... but I think I am going to have to tell my husband NO on this one. I can't pay 399 for a car seat!!!!!

Thanks for finding it for me!! smile.gif

Totally!

hottubewrk replied: Car seat cushions offer superior support and offer great benefit to those involved in long commutes. Designed to help relieve and prevent back pain, one particular option may be a cushion with the tailbone cut out for those with sensitive tailbones.
