the things they say..
PrairieMom wrote: I have really noticed that Ben has started picking up on some of the phrases I say a lot. The other day I asked him to go out and get the mail and he replied "I better get my boots and be real careful so I don't get my self killed!" I'm always saying "Boy! your gonna get your self killed!" He also told me today that if the sun melted all the snow away it would "break his heart" LOL Good grief. Oh! thats another one. He says Good grief a lot.
Calimama replied: LOL that's cute. My nephew always says, "Gosh just BREATHE people".
PrairieMom replied: I'm gonna have to use that one. On me.
My2Beauties replied: LOL LOL! OMG it's so funny that you say this because the other day Desiree put toothpaste on her face before bed to kill a zit (I guess that gets rid of pimples I have no clue) but anyways, I looked at her face and Hanna could tell what I was thinking so she says "Sissy, what in the he!! is on your face?" Oops, gotta watch the language!
That's so funny what Ben said, good thing it wasn't a curse word or something. Oh and whenever Aubrey poops, she overheard MIL calling Aubrey a sh!**y witty baby one time and now Hanna says that whenever Aubrey poops My poor kid is going to get kicked out of kindergarten for cursing
ediep replied: so funny!! I think its hilarious when Jason says things that D and I say... Like "I'm gonna loose my mind" or "are you kidding me?"
Our Lil' Family replied: That's cute Tara! What's not cute is that I caught Thomas saying "Oh Dammit" the other day.....yeah...guess I need to cut that word out, didn't really even realize I say it.
momtoMegan&Alyxandria replied: I had the same problem when Megan was little. Apparently I said it all the time, because it became her phrase. I didn't even realize. Now she laughs when I say oh Crapolla. I have tried to clean up my language. It is hard being a navy brat, marring an ex-sailor/ex-truck driver. Neither one of us has the best vocabulary. Ooooopppppssssss!!!!
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Yes, Wil went through this phase a little while back. Apparently I was also.
My3LilMonkeys replied: Brooke is the same way - repeating the things I say to her. She says "deal with it" a lot, and she's starting to pick up on "get over it"
stella6979 replied: LOL! Kids really do say the darndest things. Our family rented a cabin a few years back and after a day of swimming everyone was taking turns showering. Well, my nephew who was 4 at the time was getting undressed in the bathroom and when my SIL opened the door he screamed "shut the door, I don't want anyone to see my penis". LOL! And afterwards he came over and sat right next to me and said "ya know, I don't really care, it's just a little penis anyways". It was one of the funniest things I've ever heard. A little off topic, I know, but I still like to share that story.
Calimama replied: LOL
CantWait replied: How cute is that. Especially the "break my heart" bit.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: My old boss's daughter got kicked out of a Catholic pre-school for saying the "F" word.
Logan used to say, "Oh, Man!", but anymore, he just tattles on people.
