the ipod came today...

the armband came yesterday, the delivery box it came in is much bigger than the one the ipod came in
we ended up getting the blue, we ordered it so i could get it engraved otherwise my mom wont attempt to return it...i got ripped off with the shipping, it was $230 for both things but of course apple needs to charge you $18 for shipping so total was $250
but man, this little "box" it came in is tiny, i cant believe all the things are in that- but of course no cd to install itunes

Crystalina replied: Yes, the box is itty bitty and they cram everything in there. There was a white clip looking thing that I couldn't figure out so I threw it away. I hope it wasn't important. So far I haven't missed it.

the white thing is for the ipod to stands up in when you charge it. i have an ihome and a wallcharger so ill give her the wallcharger since apple refuses to include those with them now

i have one of those 2nd gen ipods in my house, and it came with so many things...and a remote for the headphones

ok, the dock..the thing that looks like a paperweight that you buy separately...there's a little thing inside it so those parts can be "inserted" in them, because the nanos are smaller, they can have that connector part break off inside it if it falls over. with the insert thing that you threw out, it won't fall over. but if you charge your ipod with the cable to the computer, you don't need it

Yes, I have a Nano and it came with that little white piece. We have the Bose single speaker dock thing, but since DH has one of the oldest Ipods out there, like the first one that ever came out, and I have Nano, we have to use that little white thing so that mine fits. Does that make sense? Anyhow, if you don't use a dock of any kind, it's really pointless, right?
