Ive heard a few mom's say they have used the highland teething tabs, do they work? do they seem to make them sleepy?

Anyone have anything bad to say about them???

I have tried the humphries 3 they do nothing for Kiley.

gracies replied: I have used the tablets...they work for teething but not helping them sleep

A&A'smommy replied: thay aren't suppose to make them sleepy they are suppose to ease the pain so they can sleep. I bought them and I always give her three and if it doesn't seem to help I give her tylenol. I HATE teething time! bawling.gif

Guest replied: Hello ... I use them alot. Erica has had a non-stop stream of teething. She's working on her 8th tooth right now. Hasnt had a break since they started and she would wake up screaming in her sleep b/c of them. When we give her the tablets... she becomes restful and goes right back to sleep.

The tablets dont make babies sleepy. There are supposed to be no side effects. It's that they will make the baby restful b/c it takes the pain away. They will be able to sleep. Erica sees those things and gets excited. I think she understands they make her feel better.

So for Erica... they have been wonderful. Better than any infant tylenol has dont in the past. Before my husband found these.

So I give it a thumb.gif

mummy2girls replied: I used them with jenna. And they worked with her. They made the pain go away so she could sleep better. BUT at night i did have to use motrin for her:(

ediep replied: I use them too, but they don't make Jason sleepy. I think that they work to ease the pain, well at least he likes taking them! rolleyes.gif

Mom2Boyz replied: We use them for Conner, and they don't seem to make him sleepy. They must work pretty well, because now when he sees me getting them, he gets all excited tongue.gif

thanks for the advice ladies!

ctymom replied:
yeah.... you read right. Her 8th tooth is just popping through now. She was just ready for the real food I guess. lol Her bottom two teeth were through by the time she was 4 months old. And it's been heck on her ever since.

jem0622 replied: I found that using Motrin plus the teething tabs was a good combo for us.

BTW...on how many teeth in a short period of time. My eldest DS got his fast too. But Gabe (21 mos) has taken FOREVER. LOL. Poor guy is still working on his eye teeth. They must be growing a millimeter at a time! rolling_smile.gif

Also...frozen washcloths are great for numbing them up.

coasterqueen replied: The teething tabs never worked for Kylie. It was suggested to use the teething gel by Hylands, that it works better. I didn't need to try it because her last of her two year molars came in before needing it. Before that we always used motrin.
