Very sad that she had to live the last 18 years of her life this way and that her family had to live with this loss but it's still a happy ending. Glad she is finally going home.

MommyToAshley replied: I am glad it has a happy ending, but I hate to think of what this girl has gone through for the past 18 years. She has two children by her kidnapper.

I don't feel so bad about being over-protective now. Ashley complains that I still take her to school and she is in second grade, but this girl was 11 years old when she was snagged going to the bus stop.

ChristineA replied: glad there is a 'happy ending' in this kidnap story. Imagine how much the past 18 years have effected her mentally though? I hope she and her kids are able to go on to lead a some what normal life now.

boyohboyohboy replied: I cant imagine having a normal life after something like this, she has no education, she will have to change her name..to get the press to leave her alone, and those kids are 11 and 15 and have never been to school..and you know he probably hurt them too..
