speed demons?

i had a clean record for 18yrs then late last yr i got my first, and got my second a few weeks ago. i am fighting the first but just paid the second cuz it was reduced. nice cop.

Once for doing 92 in a 70mph zone with double fines in Georgia. I never showed up for the court date, ended up with a suspended license (I did not know that until yrs later when I got into an accident), and ended up paying around $420 for the past due ticket. It was originally around $350 or $370 something.

One other time, but I never got a ticket for it. This was apparently after I had a suspended license, but before I had the accident where I found out myself, so the cop either never ran my license or did not care that it came back coded as suspended.

Boo&BugsMom replied: A couple times. Once I got a huge ticket (20 over ) and the other one I was able to flirt and play stupid to get out of it. I even think Troy was with me on that one. We were in college.

HuskerMom replied: I've gotten pulled over a few times, gotten a couple tickets. Nothing too bad though. DH got pulled over doing 130 in a 55 in highschool, just got a ticket though

J-rod replied: steph got me out of one once...we had just gotten our puppy and was heading home. we were in the Mustang GT 'vert....and it had LOUD exhaust...so i punched it in a straight away and hit 80mph in a 45 zone....saw the cop and got slowed down....he pulled me over right beside her grandmas house (talk about embarrising as i hadnt met her yet)

cop got my info and said hello to steph....he came back and said "you have a very nice car...now you two have a good day"

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I got stopped just a few weeks ago. I was going through this small town (really just a wide spot in the road) and the speed limit drops suddenly from 65 to 35 as you're going down a hill. I was clocked at 49. The cop looked at my liscense and registration and insurance and said to me, "Think you can slow it down?" I said, "Yes, sir." Cops and other authority figures bring out the southern in me. LOL.

MomToJade&Jordan replied: I voted more then once, but no more then 5. All of which happened before I had kids. I've kind of slowed down now that I have them in the car. I have been given 2 tickets, but both times the cop gave me a reduced ticket for some reason or other.
