somebody is SO looking out for us!

Anyhow, yesterday Rick and I went looking for a new dishwasher and well..we wanted a nice one, but you know he just lost his job..so we're thinking, maybe we should be conservative and just get one that gets the job DONE but doesn't have all of the bells and whistles!
So we picked out a moderate one, well okay a pretty cheap one..and I was inside feeling kind of resentful..I know he can't help his company shut down with no notice, but dang it, I'm the one suffering with a soon to be UGLY dishwasher..ha..(can u tell I'm not used to this?) anyhow, we told the salesman at Lowe's which one we wanted, he said, okay there are two in the computer, let me go make sure they are back there b/f I get you to pay. so he comes back and he says, "Nope..none back there!" So I was getting really irritated at this point..about that time, the man who works in the cabinet section at Lowe's walks over and says,"well, if you want to give them the deal of a lifetime, then you can sell them this one!" and he hands our salesman the paperwork he had in his hand...it was for the top of the line Kitchen Aid dishwaher in Stainless Steel. It was originally almost $900 but b/c it's an out of stock item they'd reduced it to $350 and then again to $260!!!!!! He said, he was going to buy it for his house but his wife didn't want the stainless steel!

I was doing the happy dance all of the way out of that store!!!
anyways, just wanted to share something nice that happened to us, for a change!

Oh yeah..the inside and everything is stainless steel..so no more stains on the inside of a white dishwasher! whew hew!!!!!!
