question about the recalls

MommyToAshley replied: Usually there is a method for returning it to the manufacturer. Mattel has a brochure you download to identify the item showing the code on the bottom. Then if you have one of the items, there is a shipping label (with return postage) that you can print or request be sent to you. They send you a voucher for the cost of the item.

Kaitlin'smom replied: oh joy let the fun begin in that process, so I am gussing it vouchers for toys then? anyone do this and get one back. I woudl rather buy her things she would use now not stuff to collect dust.

so do all the toy companies have a list on there site? or anyone have some links?

Kaitlin'smom replied: so far so good she might have some of the dora stuff but its all boxed up and it said since it was bought before 5-1-07 its not on the recall list, but I am gonna double check.

did someone say the dora talking kitchen was on a list someplace?

coasterqueen replied: I'm lazy. I just throw them out. When the Polly Pocket recall happened, I didn't even look to see if the items she had were recalled I just threw them all away. Honestly DH and I were GLAD to get rid of them, they were annoying and the girls never played with them anymore but the pieces still seemed to be everywhere. I need to check the Barbie recall. Kylie only has a few barbies, but still they are probably on the list.
