We're going to try our hand at rollerskating this weekend. O has skates and does pretty well with them. I wish they had a preschool only time though. How cool is that.

DansMom replied: The four-roller skates were much easier for stability and staying upright than the blades. He does tumble, but his center of gravity is low and he just laughs.

If I lived close to you I'd go with you - I have the same problem. DH thinks I'm a dork because I like the old fashioned skates and can't do roller blades.
