panicking. Talk me down!!!
PrairieMom wrote: Please please don't mention this on FB, cause, OMG.
Ok, so I am totally freaking out. Here is the deal. I am spotting today. My period isn't due until a week from thursday, I am on day 19 of my cycle. We DTD last friday night which was day 15 of my cycle. BUT, DH had his vasectomy a month ago, plus we used a condom. Someone please please tell me this isn't implantation bleeding. cause, i did the math and ...
lisar replied: Condom, Vasectomy what are the chances really. I think you are panicking. For your sanity though I hope your not pg.
PrairieMom replied: i know. I know... we haven't had the all clear yet tho. Its gonna be a looooong week. If it does happen, this would be one baby who was meant to be!
boyohboyohboy replied: Have you completely stopped BFing? Or pumping? Maybe its just a schedule not yet in order from Bfing..I know it took me forever to get on a schedule again.
Calimama replied: I don't know but you make some SUPER cute babies, so it would be exciting.
Don't shoot me.
PrairieMom replied:
I am still BF, but I have been regular since the beginning, same with the other 2 kids. I always got my period back right away, regular as ever, without missing a beat. How long can those little swimmers survive after a V? our Dr. told Dh to have 15 "special moments" before getting checked .
I'm sure I'm not, but, eek! geeze thursday needs to get here quick.
jcc64 replied: I am 99.999999999999 sure you are not pg. I know you're still young, but not so young that your periods might not occasionally go off track. I used to be able to set a clock by mine, and now they can vary by as much as a week in either direction. It's normal for women in their mid-30s. Isn't that where you are? (forgive me for not knowing this)
MommyToAshley replied: I agree!!!!
Ooops, wait, we are supposed to be convincing you that you are not PG, not hoping that you are.
Seriously though, the chances are SLIM! Just try not to worry as that will delay AF even more. ((hugs))
PrairieMom replied: Im 33 3/4. but who's counting. LOL. I know I Know. I hope I can shut my brain off until next week. Could you imagine? Good grief. I think I would die. I'm sure he still has some swimmers, stranger things have happened, but I have bragged so much about how I plan everything, I don't leave anything up to chance... I am due for a kick in the pants from Karma. LOL
moped replied: And you used a condom? I am almost certain you aren't pg at all!
BUT if you were it would be sort of entertaining wouldn't it???
SORRYYYYYYYY
luvbug00 replied: Oh after all your FB posts recently I think we would have to send in the men in the white jackets if your preg again! with charlie fighting naps and all..ohhh geeze. KUP!
coasterqueen replied: What she said. Mine were always like clockwork, now they are not. I can spot here and there all the time and for no reason. I agree with Jeannine. Don't panick, no need. Welcome to the world of bodies continuing to change and they will never be the same again.
luvbug00 replied: any news???
PrairieMom replied: Funny you should ask. Guess who's AF didn't show up today? No spotting, cramping, nothing. So, yeah, it isn't helping with me trying not to freak out. I'm giving till saturday before i am going to brave the crowds to go buy a test.
CantWait replied:
Well, a second little girl sure would even things out....
luvbug00 replied: well just try and relax, dont stress yourself into not getting AF. hope i didnt jinx you..sorry..lol
PrairieMom replied: not cool marie.
Calimama replied: Does AF usually come pretty consistently on time??
PrairieMom replied: Always. Eve post partum. I never miss a beat.
cameragirl21 replied: I'm having visions of a little blond, blue eyed Kepley girl named Claire born approximately 8-9 monts from now somewhere in South Dakota.... And I'm thinking Alexis will be thrilled to have a sister!
PrairieMom replied: I would die. like, seriously die. If I am preggo, we would have to call this kid Jesus. But, the math is working out... Stupid math.
Calimama replied: TEST! I'll mail you a test. Overnight delivery.
cameragirl21 replied: you would NOT die...not everything in life can be planned, T, and perhaps this is what the universe is trying to teach you if in fact you are preggo. And if you name the kid Jesus, you'll fit right in with the Cubans here in Miami, lol, except I rarely find them to be blond and blue eyed, although there are a few, lol....
moped replied: Seriously I think I would die if you were.......He had a V and you used a condom?????? That would be a miracle baby!
MommyToAshley replied:
Still no AF?
PrairieMom replied: no, I'm pretty sure I would die. Charlie has been really hard on me. Clingy, waking up 3+ times a night, I would die from exhaustion if nothing else. Plus , I think DH would kill me. I haven't been to worked up about it, to busy with Thanksgiving. I actually forgot about the whole thing until I looked at the calendar yesterday.
and for the record... no AF yet.
moped replied: Well please let us know
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Yikes! you're waiting until Saturday?! I don't think I could wait that long! Maybe there's a Black Friday deal on pregnancy tests somewhere.... I think you'd better get out there tomorrow morning and find out!
luvbug00 replied: BAHHHAAHAAHAA black Friday sales on preg. tests! love it!
boyohboyohboy replied: Tara! What self control you have! I always like even numbers better then odd!
CantWait replied: When's your big announcement then?
MommyToAshley replied: I was wondering the same thing, don't keep us in suspense!
PrairieMom replied: Still nothing.
CantWait replied:
PrairieMom replied: who's side are you on?
CantWait replied:
MommyToAshley replied: I agree,
PrairieMom replied: It came! finally! Good grief! I was pretty sure I wasn't, but when the math works out and then with AF being so darn late... ugh. Yeah for Charlie being the baby caboose! never been so happy to see AF!
MommyToAshley replied:
boyohboyohboy replied: must say, happy for you, but kinda disappointed too! thought this was going to make the weekend exciting!
luvbug00 replied: LOL glad u got the outcome u wanted
PrairieMom replied: exciting is good, but swimmers that defy 2 kinds of protection is NOT the kind of excitement I am looking for. LOL. but MAN would that be a story to tell the grand kids!
A&A'smommy replied: I'm JUST now seeing this!!! I know someone who had two kids after a V lol
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Aww, well I'm a little disappointed but I'm glad you're happy!
CantWait replied: Ahhhhh that's too bad.
Opps I mean, I'm glad you got the outcome you wanted Tara
Calimama replied: DITTO!
Sam & Abby's Mom replied: omg. that's so ironic this just happened to you because we JUST went through a similar scare.
moped replied: AHHHHHHHH DARN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I WAS SO PUMPED TO SEE THAT YOU MIGHT JUST BE!
Glad it came - NOT!
coasterqueen replied: Glad it came. I was gonna have to scratch my head on that one if you defied all odds of 2 kinds of protection.
PrairieMom replied: You and me both! Could you imagine trying to explain that one to DH?
