ok, we need another poll - for today
cameragirl21 wrote: ok, so this is sort of the opposite of yesterday's poll. any or all of those are beneficial and if used properly, will put you in a good place for life. but the question is what would you value the most? i hate to admit it, but i chose the beauty. there was a time when i'd have chosen the talent or the brilliance but i think maybe what i do for a living has to a certain extent, made me shallow. i mean, most people consider me to be good looking but seriously, just imagine going through life looking like this:

or like this:

or like this:
there's no question in my mind that beauty begets power, the problem is that it fades for most people. that is why i added, "and guaranteed to stay that way forever". what would you pick? eta--sorry the pics are so big, i don't know how to make them smaller.
amymom replied: I admit it Money is what I need. Then I could do all those things I want to do.
luvbug00 replied: I say great talents. so I can pass those on to my children.
MotherForever2043 replied: Money for sure
Boys r us replied: with enough money, even I coulld be beautiful, so I say filthy rich!
MomToJade&Jordan replied: I voted for the money. Being that I am a single Mom, having enough money seems to weigh on me the most. So I chose that.
Boo&BugsMom replied: Me too! That's why I always say Tanner is going to be my rock star, since I passed down my musical talents onto him. A mother can only dream.......
Calimama replied: Talents.
lesliesmom replied: I say money. It would be nice not to have to live paycheck to paycheck and worry about things so much. Would also help some problems DH and I have with finances.
Cece00 replied: Money.
Its the best choice anyway esp because money can get you beauty, it can get you power, it can get you brilliance and it can sometimes even get you lessons for talent.
cameragirl21 replied: talent and brilliance are something you are born with and no amount of money will make you smart or talented if you were not born that way. no amount of money will make you as smart as Einstein and no amount of lessons will make you as talented as Mozart, or Van Gogh, or Anna Pavlova or Shakespeare. money gets you stuff and it also buys you freedom but it won't make you beautiful or talented or smart or interesting.
jem0622 replied: You can be financially well off and set for life, but be lonely and miserable. Therefore, I'd rather possess talents to help various folks. It's a more rewarding ROI than some Ben Franklins.
holley79 replied: I had to go with the money part. I want to be comfortable finacially.
DansMom replied: Financial security is most important to me at this point in my life.
Cece00 replied: Hm, I think you could buy brilliance...maybe not be the MOST brilliant ever, but do you mean brilliant like really smart? Because if so, you can have the money to learn and go to school and educate yourself and be somewhat brilliant. Same thing with talent. Not everyone is born with the gift of playing piano...some have to work very hard at it...you can become talented with lessons and practice. No, you wont be the MOST talented ever, but you can buy it to a degree.
Old Mom Hubbard replied: AH, whoever said money cannot buy happiness...well it sure would HELP ease the stress of NOT having enough! With money, I could buy myself some beauty, and all of the other things too, such as lessons to develop talent!
Seriously, all in fun. And with money, I would be able to help others more the way I'd really like to...
my2monkeyboys replied: I voted for money, too. That is the one area of our lives that is stressful. I have a great family, I'm not too concerned about my looks/growing older (not that I think I'm too nice looking, I just don't care much! ). Talents, well I think we all have talents of some sort, and so what if I'm not brilliant? I just don't care about that too much either. I think I'm smart enough, and I can always learn more on my own.
