my sister had her baby yesterday
ediep wrote: I was with her all day!! She called me at 8am when she thought her water broke, I dropped jason off at my friends house and took Emma with me. WE went to her OB and the doc said "yup, your water broke, go straight to the hospital" we sort of panicked becuase she wasn't due for 5 more weeks. I called her DH and he left work, then I called my Dh and told him he had to leave work to come get Emma because I wasn't going to leave my sis alone. So DH came to pick up Emma and bring her home and get Jason off the bus. Meanwhile me and my other sister are in the room with my sister while she labors and her DH gets there and we are all helping her through her contrax. Finally, she got her epi and then the nurses kicked me and my sister out. We waited in the waiting room updating family.... my parents are in florida!!!! My mom got the first flight home but she still didn't get to the hospital until about8pm. She missed his birth, he was born at 5:21pm. So far he is looking good, but because he was premie they put him in special care. He was breathing on his own which is good. He was hooked up to some IV's and hopefully she can start feeding him this morning.
I can't wait to go see him again, he is such a cutie pie Jason is dying to get to see his new cousin!!
he was 5 pounds 14 ounces, which isn't too small consiering how early he was.
