Yes. Yes she was. She's a fun lady but certianly not the norm. Thank goodness I wasn't ever one of those types who'd be embarassed if their mom wasn't a soccer mom. LOL She's just a goofball.

Lately, she's also gotten into wigs. She has really short hair right now but she's bought 3 wigs in varying colors and lengths. My DH thinks that's just wierd but I can see the appeal. LOL

MIL is like that, when we got married her hair was cut in a short pixie type style, in September. Then when they came to visit for Christmas the same year she had on a red wig cut like a bob. Then she was offended when nobody remembered meeting her at the wedding!

My grandmother on my mom's side just got a real tattoo with a purple butterfly and her nickname, Babe, on her shoulder--and she's 80.

jaytrevjax replied: My family is like that too! My grandma, who will be 80 in sept., dies her hair this bright orange-red. It's not like other older women who's hair is blue or purple, you know, she does it on purpose to get the attention!
