more picture questions

I usually have her in dresses for pics the one time we did a family pic in casual clothes I got some flac for not having her in a dress.

ammommy replied: Did you just do a formal Christmas picture? If so, I'd go casual. I've learned that no matter what I do with my kids, someone will disagree.

mckayleesmom replied: I don't think we ever did a picture of Mckaylee in a dress. Personally I like the more casual looking pics then the gussied up ones. Plus alot of fancy dresses feel itchy as well as the tights...I want her to be comfy in the picture. If anyone says anything negative about the pic, I just wouldn't give them one.

A&A'smommy replied: Go with what YOU like the best if they give you flac about what she is wearing then the will just have to deal with it she is your child! I went semi casual with Alyssa she wore a dress that was really comfortable on her and it looked really cute!

loveydad replied: Usually I end up dressing my kids in what I think will best fit the background I'm picking out for the main pictures and I end up bringing different outfits. Nicky's really about the only one I've had professional pictures done because he got a package gift thingy from a relative when he was born. I haven't gotten his pictures taken since he was under a year old

I agree. I would put her in what you think is cutest and ignore everyone else.

We do a lot of casual pictures, too.

Mommy2BAK replied: I cannot imagine that people would give you flack for giving THEM pictures. You do whatever you want! It's your child and your wallet. I have always prefered casual over dressy. The dressy is nice every once in a while but I like the everyday pics.

MommyToAshley replied: I guess I am in the minority here, I like to get Ashley all dolled up in dresses for her professional photos. I take tons of her in casual clothes at home all the time, so I like to get her dressed up all girly girl for her professional pictures.

But, I like the casual photos. I think know which family Christmas photo you are talking about and I thought that photo was really cute.

The outfit you described sounds too cute and I think it fits her personality, I can't wait to see the pics!
