Sorry if I missed a post. I'm a little concerned that you wouldn't be a loser after 3 weeks, though b/c that is when you lose the most weight...your first 3 weeks.
My3LilMonkeys replied: Thanks for the concern. I am doing low fat, low calorie. I know that I am not drinking enough water and not exercising enough. I don't have time to go to the gym or anything and can't walk b/c it is too cold to take the girls out so I have been doing a yoga DVD but I can't do a lot of the poses yet. Plus I know I should be doing at least some cardio but I don't know what to do. But maybe I either cut my calories too much or not enough?
Though I should probably start a new post for this instead of hijacking this one....
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I bet you are cutting too many calories. How many calories are you eating per day? How many were you getting (roughly) before you started your diet? You need to make sure you are getting at least 1200 calories per day and eat small meals. Exercise should make a difference, but not that much of one. I actually didn't see as much of a loss when I was working out more.
Try to get some info on WW and go that route. It is a well balanced plan and I bet you will notivce a difference
My3LilMonkeys replied: I am trying for 1500 a day but some days if I eat lots of veggies and stuff it is more like 1300-1400. Before I don't know exactly how much but probably over 2000 - I ate a LOT of junk.
Is there somewhere to get info on WW without buying all the stuff and attending meetings? We are on a tight budget and I don't think I could afford it but I'd like to do something to get the weight off.
