btw, these cubs are purebred Siberians and will exceed 700 pounds when fully grown! hard to believe these sweet, cuddly cubs are going to be ferocious predators in the not so distant future....

And Di, i didn't say Kaitlin is not the model i normally look for, i think she's beautiful and i hope i never gave you the impression that i think otherwise.
you are all welcome to come to Miami...just do it soon, these Siberian cubs will only be small enough to be safe to put with a child for another 4-6 weeks or so, but of course soon enough their owner will get new ones. she already put a deposit on a baby bobcat.
btw, this boy is not a model, his mother hired me to photograph him with the cubs and she got to be in some of the pics too. not all the kids i photograph are models, the bulk of what i do are hired commissions and then i do commercial work on the side.

they are six weeks old. most of the ones i post are closer to 8 weeks and once i posted pics of one that was only 3 weeks.

these sessions are pretty expensive though, because in addition to my fees there is the owner's fee and she has to pay a handler for the shoot and i know you're on the frugal side.
but the way i see it, it's a once in a lifetime experience so to me it would be worth just about any price. besides, for most of these kids, they are the only ones in their class at school who get to do this and they bring in the pics to school and brag away....

oh no not at all I did not get the impression you did not think she was beautiful (thank you) just they you look for more uniquie childern, not the 'typical' (not that its bad by anymeans) blonde/blue eyed child. If we do head that way later this year I will let you know. I would to have a picture of her with cubs.

that sounds good, Di. and you are right, i like exotic, ethnic kids for the most part, and often they are biracial or very ethnic looking hispanic kids, etc.

so i do like blue eyed blondes too, it just depends on the project. if you are interested, i may have a project for Kaitlin to do...i wanted to do a Goldilocks pic which i think she may be perfect for, with a bear cub. anyway, if you are interested, contact me offline as it may not be fair to others for us to talk about it in the open forum.
but sure, let me know when you're coming and i'll let you know what animals are available.
