Just kidding. I've talked to Jenn and both of us are up to our eyeballs in miscellanious crud.

Her dh had shoulder surgery which put him out of commission for a few weeks & Bailey is cutting molars so she's been taking the brunt of that (I'm saying that the poor woman is big time sleep deprived). She also said that she has been working on night weaning Bailey from her bottles so that she can get some much needed preggo sleep. She said that was going pretty well though. I think her job gets pretty busy this time of year too so she might actually be working instead of just surfing the net. Just kiddin Jenn. I love ya!

We returned from our Chicago/Bloomington IL trip on Saturday and have finally thawed out enough to type.
It was a pleasant trip and even though we were with the inlaws most of the time, it was tolerable. K was great for the whole trip. She now says "BRRRRR" whenever we put on her coat. LOL I missed meeting boogabearz mom and DD but maybe next time. I'm thinking a spring/summer trip might be nice. My winter trips to the Northern states may be over until I've erased this trip from my memory.

My work is really crazy this time of year too and will most likely not slow down until March or April. I've been putting in over 10 hours per day most days. I just realized this afternoon that the TV hasn't been on in my house since Sadaam's capture (& that was only for an hour or so). My house is a WRECK!

I got a root canal on Monday which is still bothering me..I've got to go back on Friday for them to check the bite. I suspect that they put the cap on wrong. BOOOO

My car started acting up on Monday too. So we took it to the shop today. I've no idea what the problem is but I was sure that K and I would end up stranded somewhere before I got to the shop.

I spent today doing my christmas shopping and wrapping. All done with that thank goodness!

I've got to decorate and put up the tree sometime before Christmas eve. My family is all coming over that night to watch K open presents, eat my famous hummingbird cake (Which I STILL have to bake! ARGH ) and go carroling and read the christmas story. Guess I've got to get on that hua?

I also have 3 christmas parties to attend this weekend and I have to make something for the hostess of that one. GOOD GRAVY! It looks like I'm really a busy person when I write it all out like this.

Anyway. I've been checking the boards in between downloads/uploads of work stuff but I can't stay for long and I havent' had time to post anything. Please know that I've been thinking of all of you and sending out the necessary vibes even if I don't post about them. I will try to do better.

kit_kats_mom replied: this is getting to be too much! I just realized that new years eve is coming up fast too! That's our 3 year anniversary and I have nothing planned yet. Maybe K will be night weaned by then and we can go out with our friends for a few hours? Doubtful but maybe. LOL

Sounds like you have been busy. I hope things slow down a bit so you can take a breather. You really should try to go out with your DH for your anniversary, you soooo deserve it!

Ryan had shoulder surgery and Bailey has been sick AND teething so it's been crazy. I have been lurking, just hadn't had a chance to put in a full update.

And work will be busy until the end of January and then I should be heading toward a more normal (slack) workday...
