Dennis andthe kids got me an AWSOME Sewing table!!! It one that closes all up into a little cabinet and holds al my sewing stuff. ANd we had a girls night out last night with all teh women in my family (MIL< MOM< SIL"S AUNTS ETC) bUt no littl ekids. it wasso nice to see them all,.

And a few weeks ago I got myself the photo purse I wanted and called it my mothers day gift!!

BAC'sMom replied: The kids each made me a gift from school. Then they both helped Callum make me a card. I think it is safe to say.....since it's 2:00 in the afternoon that the DH got me zip... zilch....zero!  Darn I sure love that man! 
mom2tripp replied: Well DH is working today  SO, yesterday morning I got a frame with Tripp's pic on one side and his hand prints on the other like in a mold. Then DH and I went shopping for our new house and bought all the new applainces, then we went out to dinner and for some drinks. It was very sweet. He also got me a gift certificate for a manicure here in town,
ashtonsmama replied: Well my IL's gave me $100 to go shopping with...lucky me...and my MIL also gave me a spa treatment (mani/pedi/massage type thing)...
PLUS--Ryan got me a really gorgeous necklace that I've wanted for some time now, he knew I wanted it, but I'd kind of forgotten about it...it's a tiny inter-locking silver chain with a little pure silver heart on the end...it's beautiful. And he also gave me a certificate that he made (with some of my scrapbooking stuff--  ) for 3 nights of "me time"...he'll watch A while I go out on my own or with the girls, etc.
So I'm set. And my mom sent me a card...and I called her...it was kind of an awkward convo, but oh well. She's still not much better, so I think distancing myself is still the right thing to do...
punkeemunkee'smom replied: I got my purse and some new make-up (Bare Esentuials), tanning  and lotion! We went to dinner lastnight and breakfast this morning and Bill took off work today to spend some time with us The best part was the cards I got-Bill got me the sweetest card ever it made me cry and Tay signed her own name and wrote I love you inside the card she got me! It means a TON to me because Bill stops at whatever store he can find while he is traveling and gets my cards It makes me feel so special knowing he thinks of me even when he is working so hard away from home! It is a WONDERFUL mother's day!

mckayleesmom replied: Well....I last week Russell broke my chain to my mothers necklace and dh got me a new one. I told him I want a new kitchen table...so we are going to look for one...not sure if we will do that before or after we move...might be after so it doesn't get damaged in the move.

Well I got a heart ballon with a yellow rose from DH and a poopy diaper from Annika.
We are doing Mother's Day next weekend since I am working this weekend. (I'm at work now.  )

My mom always gets me something, today when I got to church there was a corsage on my chair from her, and she also gave me some bath stuff and she bought these adorable cookies for the kids to give me that looked like a hat, a teapot, and a basket.
DH, shockingly, gave me an ipod nano.  He never gives me gifts and I especially didn't expect one now!
But the best was what the kids made me in church today, they cut out a heart (themselves) and glued it on a paper and made their handprints on either side. The heart says:
Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls
But every day I'm growing

And all those tiny fingerprints

My3LilMonkeys replied: I bought myself a plant - DH didn't buy me anything because, as he says, I'm not his mother. And my sister gave me a card.
1lilpeanut2love replied: My SO has been the nicest person lately, but he was definitely good to me on Mother's Day! I think I deserved it! 
He got me 2 months unlimited tanning service and tanning lotion. He did this all by himself. I didn't even tell him where to go or what to get. I haven't been in a few years, I hope it works!! 
He also made me a picture frame. He painted and decorated it. He put Happy Mother's Day on it, #1 mom, and both mine and Kaylee's name on it.[He put a picture in the frame that Kaylee and I had taken together Saturday for Mother's Day] It was very creative and sweet of him to do.
He also handmade me a Mother's Day card. I told him I would rather him make me a card than to buy me one!  It was so cute. He placed a picture of Kaylee on the front of the card from when she was an infant! 
I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day! Each and everyone of you all deserved it!!
b&bsmom replied: Dh made breakfast at my mil house for my parents and his parents and my sister and husband. We do that every mothers day and if I hadn't planned it it would not have happened.
Besides the gifts the kids made at school ( flower pots) my dh gave me a pair of pj's that don't fit handed to me in a walmart bag. I was not happy no card from the kids or nothing.
However, I asked my ds what he loved about mommy and he said, me taking him to the park and then he said I love everything you do.!!!!!
That made my day!!!!!!!
Kirstenmumof3 replied: DH sent me a certificate through the email telling me that I will be getting driving lessons. So finally I will be able to get my drivers liscence. Spencer painted a picture frame and decorated it with bumble bee stickers and made me a card.

MomToJade&Jordan replied: I got a $50 dollar Target Gift card from my girls...My Mom had a hand in that. LOL! I also got lunch at Don Pablo's today. Yes things with Zack and I aren't great, but he brought me out to lunch for Mother's Day. Oh and all the Mom's got a red carnation at church this morning.

My mom got me 3 beautiful angels so I can have the start to my own collection. My mom's friend got me a spa treatment basket of lotion, gel, etc. Smells so good.

coasterqueen replied: OMG, I'm embarassed to say I forgot Kylie made me a beautiful card at daycare on Friday, bought me a red carnation and made me chocolate dipped strawberries.
Our Lil' Family replied: Zilch, Nada, NOTHING from DH! It was not a good day. He even made us late for church which made me miss getting the little pin that they passed out for mothers!
But my 2 SIL's gave me a red rose and my mom gave me some bath gel.

Then DH took the girls out for a few hours so i could finish stripping the wallpaper border in the kitchen and paint it. when they got home they had a potted tulip (my favorite flower), a card, cheesecake and ice cream. K was super good all day and she took a nap so we took her to Busch Gardens for the afternoon and she and I played in the water. She has also been really eating to get tall enough to ride the Rhino Rally. It's a big person ride and she was about 1/8" too short to ride last time. She was tall enough this time so we rode her first big girl ride together. She was soooo excited.
I had a lovely day.

My2Beauties replied: Well I got the bowling ball and stuff that I had posted about. I was sort of upset yesterday, Brian had to work that morning, so I went and had lunch with my mom, then after he got off of work, it's a tradition that his mom and him go out to the race track, well she didn't go this year, she was out shopping. Brian and his dad still made it a point to go after Brian got off work, which hurt my feelings. But I went out to lunch with my mom and he said he was only gonna stay for a couple of races and when I got done to meet him at his mom and dads. So when I called after lunch he sort of threw a fit about leaving the track really hurt my feelings. He didn't even get me a card or anything all because he got my present early, I sort of made a comment about it, and he goes well I hadn't made it to the store yet, this was at 6:00 in the evening as he laid on the couch in his PJ's already! I'm thinking ok when were you gonna make it to the store. So he took Hanna to get something to eat about 30 minutes later, I told him I wasn't hungry, I had just lost my appetite because he had me crying and everything because it hurt my feelings so bad that he didn't even get me a card from Hanna - not like DH. He was gone extra long of course  and came home with a really pretty single red rose in a vase and 2 cards, one from him and one from Hanna, he let Hanna draw in the card too and he wrote on the card how sorry he was that he hurt my feelings and he didn't mean to and to please forgive him. He's being extra sweet today. He had to turn around and work 3rd shift last night too. I was just upset that he made a big deal about leaving the track to come spend time with me because he took me out to dinner and stuff Saturday night so he made it seem like that was my Mother's Day. I'm like I don't need dinners and gifts and all that, I'm about cards and spending time, I love cards and he knows this. So he just sort of hurt my feelings. He made up for it though and I'm fine now, just haven't never had a Mother's Day that I spent boo-hooing  I have a feeling he'll really make up for it on our anniversary.
