mummy2girls wrote: I went to united furniture to see about a new couch and table and chairs for the dinning room. They have awesome deals where you pay monthly payments as low as 10 bucks... Anyways i came upon this really nice dinning room set. Glass table and 6 chairs. jenna comes trotting over and ..BONK... corner of table in her mouth...hitting her gums...girl on floor screaming while grabbing her lips...mommy having a heartattcak and grabbing her! So i guess i am getting something less dangerous. But they are so gorgeous.
Jamison'smama replied: Yes, I dream that one day I will have corners that aren't padded-----so that I can walk by and smack my hip on the corner.
Poor Jenna, but way to go sacrificing yourself to show mom that it wasn't the right table for her.
mammag replied: At least it happened while you were there......before you bought it and had to relive that scenario several times. Poor baby girl!
Insanemomof3 replied: Aww poor Jenna. Hope she was ok! Glad that you saw that problem before you got it home!
mckayleesmom replied: I stay away from glass.
b&bsmom replied: Glad Jenna tried it out for you. Hope she is ok. Good luck finding something else.
mummy2girls replied: yes i know. I wouldnt of gotten it anyways.....
ediep replied: awww, poor Jenna!
I guess he was trying to tell you that wasn't the right table for your new place
A&A'smommy replied: OMG poor baby!! well that is what we sacrifice for the safety of our kids!!
SOUTHERN MOMMY replied: NO GLASS HERE
My2Beauties replied: Well sorry Jenna had to sacrifice on that one. We have a glass coffee table in our livingroom and now Hanna is really good about getting around it, it has corners around the glass part, don't get too frightened guys but when she first started walking I felt so bad for her, she hit her head and her poor little side on that thing a bunch! She got so used to it she didn't even cry anymore!
luvbug00 replied: Poor baby! Keep an eye on her teeth, a similar thing happened to Mya and her frount right tooth is dead from the accendent and we are waiting for it to fall out. ( 2 years later.)
lisar replied: I hope she is okay. I want new furniture. But I figured with the new baby that I might as well keep the old stuff until we are out of the spilling age with this one. LOL
