I have a friend who is expecting this september and she and her b/f are now officially petrified that they will have happen to them what happened to me. I was told that my child would be a boy at my last sonagram before delivery. obviously they were very wrong. I told her that it not likely that it will happen to her. But now I made her nervous and she is nesting and panicking about what color to paint the babys room and all that good stuff and i was wondering if anyone else here had that happen?

mckayleesmom replied: Well..not exactly...With McKaylee we knew she was a girl..it was very very obvious...With Russell they couldn't tell at all. I swore and swore that it was a girl...but just in case I made sure everything I bought was mutual . THey can always paint the room a yellow or sage color and then finish the decorating after the baby is born.

Mom2Boyz replied: Oh my gosh, I couldn't imagine that happening!!! We havn't even discussed a girl name, so if this one turns out to be a girl, she won't have a name, and she'll be wearing boys clothes LOL

luvbug00 replied: Yes she will, Mya did for the fist 6 monthes of her life, and her room was blue! Her name should have been Derek Nicholas- Stetson Love. Needless to say I was Shocked! Her Dad Just cried and said how beautiful she was.. emotional men . We spent Hours tring to think up a name because we needed 2 middle names. and we couldn't name her cirten things like , megan Love ( say it fast) so it took a while. I hope your conners' little sister doesn't have to wear little boys clothes

5littleladies replied: I was told Brianna was a girl and obviously she was. I'm a bit afraid that this one will pop out and have some extra pieces but it was pretty obvious from the ultrasound that she was a girl (I said it before the tech said it) so hopefully that won't happen.

iluvmysweetiepies replied: I was told correctly with all my girls. If she's that worryed she should paint the room a gender neutral color and hold off on other more gender specific decorating until after the baby is born. She can always return/exchange clothes as well.

Kaitlin'smom replied: oh sheesh, They were right with Kait, I saw her so there was no dought in my mind, we did have a boys name picked out but we had a ton of pink things, so that would have been weird, her room was more gender nutural so that part would have been ok

SOUTHERN MOMMY replied: Well lets just say that Andrew Brock was London Brianna the whole time i was preggo. and for 3 months Nate still called him that and yes, his room was pink

MomToJade&Jordan replied: They were right with my Jade and I'm really hoping that they are right with Jordan. When I saw her on the u/s I said girl as the tech was saying it. She looks just like Jade did in hers. I did help in the delivery of a baby who was a girl up to the moment HE was born. The doc. had told my friend that if this is a boy he's hiding it well. The minute the baby was born I looked to see if this was in fact Samantha and found out that no this was Conner. The doc put this baby on my friends lap and said you have a beautiful baby girl. Well the epidural guy and I were like um no that's a boy. My friend was like WHAT!!!! I actually thought Jade was a boy for the last 3 weeks of my pg because of that. When she was born no one told me one way or the other and I asked if she was still a girl. Obviously she was.

lisar replied: Not me personally but when i had my first child the nurse was telling me about a woman who just knew she was having a girl and when they did her c-section it was a boy. She was telling me about how the woman was crying and so upset. I wouldnt wish that upon anyone. Its has to be a BIG SUPRISE that I aint ready for.

ions_momma replied: They were right with Ion but one of my friend's doctors told her she was having a girl so they paited the room pink and bought a bunch of pink and purple clothes and then he came out a boy so the repainted the room and bought all new clothes!
