it was a girl - back from doctors

angelhair wrote: it was a girl. found out tday. brought some closure and I feel at peace with it. bought a pair of pink botties and its a girl card to put in her memory box and I feel better knowing that I have a daughter up in heaven. she had a third set of chromosomes, two extra then uausal and could not have lived because of it. he said it was randem and unlikely to happen in another preg. the first two he seems to think are unrated to this one in that the first two were due to low progesterone which can happen in older women and not nessarly anything to do with egg quailty or a chromosome abnormality. he gave it a 25 percent chance of it happening agian and a 25 percent chance of being able og getting preg again(which I am very fertile) so as far as the percentage of actual m/c it is about 25 percent roughly. better then I hoped for. I am glad that all three were not due to egg abnormalities and that it not seem to have a common trend. he also said the chances of getting preg are low after a miscarriage so I do not have to worry about it till next period. so I am not going to take the pill at all this month. I will see about next month as I might be willing to ttc next month. love dee. the low prgesterone problem is actually a correctable condition, with clomid and natural prog supplements.

MamaMartie replied: {{Dee}} I am glad you got some answers and you are at peace with the whole thing. I am sorry you lost your little girl and I hope you are able to have a baby as soon as you are ready.

I took clomid with our first baby and progesterone with 4 of our 6 pregnanies. It really does help.

Hugs,
