is your DH's/SO's?

mummy2girls wrote: whiney when sick? OMG yesterday marcus has been coughing... and he was sitting here for about half hour just whining that he is sick and he is coughing.he was talking ina whiney voice and moaning! I could nto take it for any longer so i made him go to bed. Why is it and i know this has been asked many times, that when men are sick( most of them) they are saying they are dieing even with just the sniffles BUT us moms can get the stomach bug or pneumonia and they are still running around doing errands, taking care of the kids and house and hubby...

Boo&BugsMom replied: Depends on what's wrong with him. Not typically, but he has been a couple times. Sorry honey, you have. blush.gif

stella6979 replied: LOL! DH is the trooper when it comes to being sick, I'm the one who gets whiney. biggrin.gif

Jamison'smama replied: Oh my goodness yes, he is in bed and napping as much as possible if he gets even a hint of illness.

Calimama replied: Nope not usually. It does annoy me that he'll be REALLY sick and still saying, "I'm fine".. blah blah. rolleyes.gif

Boo&BugsMom replied:

gr33n3y3z replied: No not at all
He doesnt want to be bothered and I'm the same way

luvbug00 replied: Every man i know except my dad and brother have been whiney babies when they are sick. it's fine for the first day or so but then it just is super annoying! Lars is funny though becuase a flu will knock him down but he worked right threw the fractured knee and any physical pain. soo wierd emlaugh.gif

msoulz replied: He used to be until one time I had enough and told him "suck it up, candy@$$, you have a cold!" and that was the last time I heard whining!

Yes, 15 years of marriage allows this type of conversation. wink.gif

MoonMama replied: Alec NEVER gets sick! But when he does I have to admit he's the sweetest snuggliest (is that even a word) person in the world. wub.gif rolling_smile.gif He is perfectly content if I would lay on the couch with him all day. love2.gif

Brias3 replied: YES! OMG, if he has a cold or something, you'd think it was really five broken bones, pneumonia and scurvy all at once or something rolleyes.gif The attitude that accompanies it all to boot is less than desirable as well!

I remember my dad being the same way though laugh.gif I think its simply a man thing. Let's just all be thankful that women bear children, huh?

3xsthefun replied: Not really. It just depends how bad he is feeling.

Anthony275 replied: im not like that

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Because we're just tougher. They just don't like to admit it.

A&A'smommy replied:
ROFL rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif thats hilarious!!!!

BUT ummm 4 years of marriage made us that way emlaugh.gif I have bruises on my arm from us wrestling blush.gif emlaugh.gif its fun!!! thumb.gif

No Jeremiah is NOT whiny in fact he RARELY complains.. unless his back or head hurts really bad.. most of the time he will come home and go to bed or spend all day in bed if he is off.... I'M the whiner but I still manage to work through my sickness even though I'm a BIG baby when I'm sick or hurting for any reason blush.gif blush.gif

grapfruit replied: Surprisingly Tim's pretty good. He doesn't whine too much. His oldest brother is awful though. tongue.gif Ask Cyndi, it's her DH. emlaugh.gif

HuskerMom replied: No Dh doesn't get whiney, he just wants to be left alone.
