i am weeping with joy - i worship the hammock and its makers

HAPPINESS!!! BLISS!!! Steph
MommyToAshley replied: YEAH!!!! Glad it worked for you!
MomofTay&Sam replied: YEAH!!! Some relief! I am so happy you will get some free time now, you deserve it!
supermom replied: We'll miss you!! <J/K, since you said if it worked you'd be working instead of posting!!>
I am SO HAPPY for you and him - that really is great news...
Mommieto2Girls replied: Woo hoo, he looks so comfy. You can finally get some peace and quiet.
supermom replied: OK, now the next question is how long did he sleep?? Do tell, do tell
dhoppygirl replied: Wow, he looks so comfy...almost as if he always sleeps like that!!
Schnoogly replied: He slept an hour!!! And he woke up so happy. He's asleep in it again, took longer this time, some screaming involved. I think I waited too long to put him in, or perhaps it's a late afternoon thing (5:00 here)
In any case, worked again! Yeah!!!
Steph
supermom replied: That is great, Steph!!! Really will miss you!!! Teehee teehee...... No, seriously, I am so glad that this is working for you, so very very glad!
MomToMany replied: I'm glad it's working for you! He looks so comfy in there! You really needed a break!

booey2 replied: Glad you are finally able to get some mom time, he looks like a little doll, so cute. Where can I ge t one for me?

Good job to the makers of that!
it does look quite comphy!
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Oh is that ever cool! I've heard of these hammocks but I've never actually seen one! He looks like he just loves it!
Mommieto2Girls replied: Schnoogly-So did he sleep all night?
Schnoogly replied: Well he went to sleep (after a lot of screaming--think his teeth are bothering him) in Dh's arms around 8:00. Put in hammock--stayed asleep! Brought to our bed (didn't wake up at all!) around 10:00, slept until 3! That's pretty good. He woke up again at 5, then at 7 for the day. We're not going to do the hammock at night just yet until he's used to it because he generally sleeps pretty well in our bed and it is easier to nurse him at night when he sleeps next to me. But if this keeps up, hammock at night it is! It is easy to move around the house, thank goodness. He's asleep in it right now again! He falls asleep in it about half the time, the other half he still needs to be walked, bounced etc. But then I can lay him down in it and he stays asleep! I can't believe it. I wish we had gotten this thing months ago. How much aggrivation it would have saved. I'm telling everyone I know about it!
Steph
Schnoogly replied: P.S. Supermom, I have a lullabies of the world CD that I play while he naps and his favorite one is the Swedish one! I just put the CD on repeat for that one--it is playing right now. Makes me think of you & your DH!
Steph
supermom replied: teehee - if it was my DH he would have said "Of course" - lol
