huh. That was interesting.
PrairieMom wrote: A guy just came to my door to ask me to support Obama. This day can't end quickly enough. The strange thing is that I got to visiting with him, and you will never guess where he is from... Canada. So, things are messed up so bad that you Canadians are feeling the need to come down here and volunteer in our election process? Things must be worse than i thought!
A&A'smommy replied: that is odd?? You should have asked him about that
PrairieMom replied: I did. He said that his grandkids live in FL. and he is scared for their future.
Boys r us replied: Hmm..that IS interesting! LOL But yeah, I'd have to agree that things are indeed messed up badly enough in this country that the canadians probably DO feel sorry for us.
My2Beauties replied: Oh wow!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: bah... like it or not, we're just about as affected by your presidency as you are.
PrairieMom replied: I just figured you were all scared our "stuff" would leak north over the boarder.
lovemy2 replied: That is what I was thinking - I wouldn't be surprised if a Russian, a Turk, a Dutch, an Italian and on and on came to your door - they ALL have an interest in what goes on here
my2monkeyboys replied: That is weird, though. Maybe I just don't care enough...
redchief replied: Isn't it funny how the rest of the world loves to hate us, but their economies are so tied to ours that they feel compelled to assist us with "our problems." I think that the biggest reason the world likes Obama so much is that he's hardly an American at all. Perhaps if we Americans all thought about how much the rest of the world wants Obama to be our president, we'd grow brains and make sure he gets tossed out of the Senate and US politics. Take him... You can have him!

BabyOwen427 replied: AMEN!!
PrairieMom replied: Ed, I don't get this statement. He was born in America, he has lived his life in this country, same as you, how are you more American than him? Really, couldn't an argument be made that since his family immigrated here, and achieved the American dream, he can better understand the true meaning of what it really means to be and American?
punkeemunkee'smom replied: Can you tell me how you really feel?
