had to go back to the doctor today...

I took her wednesday and the doctor gave me some kind of syrup to clear her up well she got worse coughing, higher fever, eating less, ect... i have been sucking all the nasty junk out of her nose (didnt have to do that before we went to the doc the first time and if i did nothing came out) and this morning when she woke up i did it and noticed that her mucous turned green so i got us ready and took her back to get some antibiodics. They put on Amoxacillian and im/was severly allergic to penicillian (which is in the amox) so im watching her carefully to make sure she doesnt have a bad reaction to it. She is feeling a little better today but she isnt letting me out of her site if i leave her site for more than a few seconds she freaks so i dont do that because if i do i feel like pulling my hair out my poor baby i dont want to be impatient with her im just sooo tired! She also wont hardly let me put her down or wipe her nose so im not putting her down but she is going to have to be mad about the nose thing. Im soooo exhausted i stayed up with her pretty late the other night and so did dh he couldnt sleep because he was worried about her but i wanted to hold her so that i could not just know she was alright but also feel it. Dh has been soo wonderful and helpful with her, he stayed up with her until 5:30 this morning and then i got up and put her to sleep. I need some serious sleep my mom offered to come over but i didnt really want her to silly me. Im soo glad its friday because dh can help out this weekend my house looks horrible all i have done is wash clothes notice i didnt say laundry lol i have washed like five loads and thrown them in the laundry basket, im usually VERY anal about all this stuff but i dont have the energy to do anything else.....okay well thank you for listening to me bable......

And don't worry about your house, just try and get some rest and take care of Alyssa. Feel better soon!!

MommyToAshley replied: I am sooo sorry, poor baby. And poor Mommy. I hate to see the little ones sick. I am like you, I am a big worry wart when they don't feel well. I hope the meds kick in soon and she starts to feel better.

And, don't worry about the house. Just take care of Alyssa and yourself. You can worry about the house later.

i had it when our babies are under the weather..it makes you feel so helpless!! hope she feels better soon and you and her can get back to your normal routine...(and you can get some sleep at last!!)
