fan at night?

mom2tripp wrote: Anyone into this habit in your room or your child's???

I'm guilty for both blink.gif

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: We leave the ceiling fans on most the year. I can't sleep if there is no air movement so when it's cold we reverse the direction of the fan and continue to use it. The only times the fans are off is when it's warm enough but not too hot to open the windows.

mckayleesmom replied: Me...dh hates it...he is always freezing laugh.gif

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Me and DH both have fans and we have one in Mackenzie room for the sound.

3xsthefun replied: I do in our room. Poor DH he ends up being too cold. laugh.gif

ediep replied: we have ceiling fans in the bedrooms and I always put Jasons on when he is napping, because his room gets stuffy. We use ours all summer.

KingMom replied: Guilty of both. I not only have the ceiling fan on but I run a humidifier in Colin's room (not just to keep him healthy, but for the extra noise, so I don't wake him walking around the house).

coasterqueen replied: I turn Kylie's on when I go in there to check on her and she's sweating like a pig rolleyes.gif , which is almost every night. She's her own furnace. tongue.gif

Megan and I freeze to easily so we don't have one on. When DH is home he has it on.

redchief replied: We have fans, but don't use them unless they're needed. Now the bloody television being on all night... THAT'S annoying. dry.gif

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Only in our room...I'm freezing when I get into bed, but my PG body heats up pretty fast these days! So it's a must.

I don't turn Wil's on during the winter though.

holley79 replied: Well for me I have to have my ceiling fan and my box fan. blush.gif

Boys r us replied: We have the ceiling fans on all year in all of our bedrooms.

~Roo'sMama~ replied: I have one blowing in the hall outside Andrew's room for noise - I am going to put a humidifier in his room instead for the winter though - it gets pretty dry in our house.

I like having the background noise too... I use to have the fan in my room but I can still hear it enough from the hallway to help me sleep. smile.gif

huggybugboy replied: We just broke the habit a couple of weeks ago. I had one in Miles room for the noise and in our room for the air but it is too cold now. Luckily, it wasn't too hard to get rid of, although the silence was deafening for a while...
