does he do diapers?

annafrombc wrote: Mine didnt at first but he does now~!

Maddie&EthansMom replied: He does, but not very often. wink.gif He really doesn't have to, though. The baby is usually asleep when he gets home from work.

MomToMany replied: Mine does every once in awhile, but it's usually Hannah he changes. Kayla is too wiggly for him, LOL!

momof2girls replied: Yes mine does, have never had a issue with doing it.

Just last week Kiley had such a nasty one I almost threw up, so he took over!!! LOL

mammag replied: Chris wouldn't change Keegan's diaper until the umbilicus fell off and the circumscision had healed but now he has no problem with doing it. He even changes poopie ones which he was much more hesitant to do with the first kids.

3forme replied: YEP! He does it all!! Even though I am a SAHM, Jim loves taking care of the kid's needs. He doesn't mind changing, feeding, etc. He gets up every morning and feeds/changes Adam and gets Lydia off to school! He is the BEST!

Just had to brag!
Julie

Kaitlin'smom replied: voted yes, but he does not do it very often

ediep replied: yes, my DH does change diapers

coasterqueen replied: I would have to say this is one area my husband is so great in. wub.gif He's always helped change diapers. Especially in the beginning.....I had a c/s and so to help me so I wouldn't have to get up so much he'd change her. He also changed her in between all her feedings (and night feedings) when she was young since I was getting up to nurse her all night long.

About the time she really started taking to solids (12 months or so) we both didn't want to change diapers as much. tongue.gif It was like "no, it's your turn, no it's your turn" type of thing going on by that age. smile.gif

annafrombc replied: Im delightfully surprised by this! Im glad they are all helping!

Boys r us replied: MY Dh has changed them since DAY 1!!!
He knew I expected it, plus he wanted to help! Truth be told, he probably changes more than I do!

akbutterfly83 replied: He did @ first, due to my c/s.... now I have to make him...... I voted no, cause I have to make him..... and Mason is 3 weeks old, and we have been hom for over 2 weeks.... and I think he's changed him about 4 times..... maybe 5..... cause I make him.... he'll do other stuff, but doesn't like to change him.... LOL.....

booey2 replied: Nope, only if he has to.

A&A'smommy replied: Jeremiah changed her first diaper and the next ones for a couple days after that because I had a c/s and was out of it tongue.gif He still changes diapers but its more of a fight now emlaugh.gif

MommyToAshley replied: DH has been very involved with Ashley from the beginning... including changing diapers. We changed her very first diaper together. wub.gif

texasp3 replied: I needed a third option... only wet ones!

Actually, he changes the poopy ones too if I'm not around... but he really, really, really hates it. He has problems with poop and puke (great Dad material!) and I wouldn't buy it except that when Michael was 9, and had oral surgery, he threw up on DH's feet as we were leaving the hosptial. OMG... I really thought DH was going to pass out. Truly... he was white as a sheet! laugh.gif I had to scramble around the car to get to DH because he was the only thing holding Michael up!! Oh dear... laugh.gif

A&A'smommy replied:
LOLOLOL thats funny! rolling_smile.gif

Jordon and Lisa replied: I'll answer for myself...(being the DH and all)

I change diapers all the time. I love it, because Parker has such a great time on the changing table, we usually end up trading smiles and laughs. It's more quality time I get to spend with the little guy, and I can't get enough!!!!

Kirstenmumof3 replied: thumb.gif Yes mine did from day one with all 3 of them. He used get them out of their cribs, change them and then bring the baby to me. He was so wonderful! thumb.gif

loveydad replied: Okay guys I know this is cranky but, in my defense I had a hard day today sad.gif

I'm getting just a little bit sick of these posts (and this is like the third one, does he help out and such) (This is NOT directed to anyone general) WHEN and ONLY WHEN it makes it seem like people are trying to say men never help out.

When Henry was born, he had cloth diapers some of the time, and I changed those at least once-twice a day, and worked. He also had the regular diapers.

When the twins were born, it was me and my ex and my ex worked all day. I changed double the diapers!

For a long time I was a single daddy and I changed every single diaper! That meant V and K until they potty trained, Tracy, Nicky, Carter Clara (DOUBLE the newborn stinky diapers lol) and now I'm changing Andriana and Peter too. That is a whole hell of a lot of diapers!! Now that tav's here I don't expect her to take over the diaper duty, of COURSE. We both change the kiddos when we find them stinky or wet, and i'm sure it will be the same when Brooklyn is born.

Sorry to be so crabby ladies, but us guys get such a wrap!! I am glad that all your hubby's help you out!

gr33n3y3z replied: Redchief would change them from day one and when I was nursing the kids he would get up in the middle of the night and get them and bring them to me so I could feed them and he would burp them and put them back in bed
He would feed them when they got older but would not give them a bath he said they were too slippery when they were wet LOL
He was a good Daddy then and still is to this day smile.gif

Josie83 replied: Cassie's not in nappies any more but when she was Jason had no problem with doing them. He did them from day one! xx

3_call_me_mama replied: If Dennis didn't then my kids wouldn't get changed half the time! LOL! He does more than i do sometimes cause i am so busy with everything else, so i definately would be in DEEP DOO_DOO if he didn't help (Literally!)

MomToMany replied:
rolling_smile.gif LOL, Vig! Cloth diapers ARE the regular diapers!!!

loveydad replied:
I KNEW YOU'D SAY THAT!

That's what I was thinking honestly when I typed that- but my brain was tired, I had a screaming Peter on my lap, and I couldn't for the life of me think disposibles! I was in a hurry so I said that.
I agree! I'd do it if I could!
