can I share?
Kaitlin'smom wrote: I have always dreaded the day kait coudl get into the fridge by herself, well she can now and so far so good no lock needed YET. She know most things she can got out to eat if she wants them. The cutiest thing the other day was she asked for more milk I said sure I would be there in a minute, well I get out to the kitchen and the fridge door is wide open and sitting on the counter was her sippy cup, white milk and chocolate milk, she says to me 'I got it all out for you mommy' it was the sweetest thing to seeand she helped out them back as well.
kimberley replied: awww what a big helper! just make sure she doesn't decide to make breakfast in bed one day
ammommy replied:
That's sweet I dread the day that Alec tries that, Kimberly.
six_kids_at_28 replied: SO cute! A little helper! Being the *great* helpers my older kids are they already taught the triplets to open the fridge, actually they did arounnd 15-16 months LOL
A&A'smommy replied: awwww what a sweetheart!!! Alyssa LOVES to play in the refrigerator so far no bad stuff here either
ediep replied: awww so cute! We have a lock on our fridge, but sometimes I forget to latch it and Jason walks over to me with a yogurt..."here mommy, want some yogurt?"
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Girl if she is just now doing that you are L-U-C-K-Y!!!! Ethan has already started getting into the fridge and the pantry and Maddie has been getting her own snacks since she was 2.
Kaitlyn is so cute and such a sweet child.
MommyToAshley replied: How cute and funny... I can just see her doing that.
Isn't it funny how they like to do stuff for themselves now, but I bet it won't be the same when they are teenagers. LOL!
ilovemybaby replied: Well you're lucky! I have heard some stories about my father getting eggs out of the fridge and looking at his mother and grinning... and then my grandma would say "no Peter put it back" and he would smile at her and drop the egg on the floor! And I used to work at a supermarket and this lady would come in almost every day to replace eggs or milk that her son had got out of the fridge! And I felt so sorry for her because they were on a low income as it is and she had to replace stuff so often... I think she eventually invested in a fridge lock!
Kaitlin'smom replied: hopefully it wont be till she is much older
Kaitlin'smom replied: it was to hard for her to open before its a pretty new fridge so the seal on it is very tight, heck somedays I have a hard time with it
DansMom replied: Wow!!! She is very resourceful! She'll be cooking dinner for you guys in no time.
coasterqueen replied: Awww how sweet!
I actually loved the day Kylie could do this, especially since it really helps me out when I have my hands full with Megan. When Kylie wants something to drink or a slice of cheese or something she can't wait. She'll eat your arm off. So I tell her to get her milk out (or whatever) then I pour it for her, then she puts it back. I have to watch out though because she has mistaken the fridge for the freezer.
coasterqueen replied: Same here. Kylie could open it up at about 2 1/2 but our fridge has a very very tight seal on it and I'm the same way, there are a lot of times I can't even get it open without a huge tug.
