blinkie?
ediep wrote: I was wondering where you find those cute blinkies in your siggy?
MomToMany replied: I have a whole folder of them I've snagged from sites. I just Google "blinkie", and lots of sites will come up. When you find a blinkie you like, right-click on it, and select "Save As..." to your computer somewhere (like in your pictures or wherever). Then upload them to a image host like Photobucket, or imageshack. Then copy the URL into your Signature. You will need to add the [ IMG ] tags to the beginning & [ /IMG ] end of the URL, with no spaces. Then click Update Signature, & you're done!
C&K*s Mommie replied: although I do not have a big collection of them, yet. There are only a small handful in our computer.
ediep replied: is there a way to make your own?
Mollie, sort of like how your name is glittery??
MomToMany replied: There are on-line tutorials on how to do them, but can be complicated. i can make you one if you want! LMK what colors & what it should say!
I bought a Paint Shop Pro & Animation Shop program off of eBay to make my own. I had a free trial that ran out. It was FUN making them, LOL.
fashionmumofboys replied: I also google for some of the blinkie sites and so many come up.
holley79 replied: I have been meaning to ask the same thing. Thanks for asking and thank you for the answer.
luvmykids replied: A lot of the blinkie sites say "Do not direct link" what does that mean?
kimberley replied: pics online can be right clicked for a url and posted here directly from the original website using their bandwidth i believe. in english, in just means you have to save the blinkie to your computer and link from there or photobucket or similar. hth.
C&K*s Mommie replied: some of the sites have wierd names, some sites are no longer available. But I found that the ones with wierd names have some of the best (IMO) blinkies.
MomToMany replied: It means copying the URL of the blinkie right from their site. Then their site can't run because their bandwidth is exceeded. I posted instructions on how to use a blinkie safely in my post above.
luvmykids replied: I didn't realize that was the same thing. Thanks!
MomToMany replied: ediep, would you like me to make you a glitter name? If you want to try it yourself, click here. Scroll down about halfway, and it has the instructions there.
ediep replied: Thanks! The glitter names part was down, but I'll try again later
