been wondering something

Kaitlin'smom wrote: question, trying to figure how to word this

were your little ones active in womb?
are they active now?

been wondering if there is a connection, or an oppisite.

like kaitlin she was not very active in womb, hid for months, and really did not kick much, but now she is a little fireball, very active, talkitive, outgoing and just LOVES people.

my2monkeyboys replied: Will was very active when I was resting, sleeping when I was active. Since he's been born, I've actually had people tell me he is hyperactive and should prob be on something. So, yes, he's very active now! Don't know if there's any connection... happy.gif

hoosier momma replied: My son was incredible active while in the womb. In fact, I thought he was going to damage my rib cage! And, he is still very active at 9 1/2 months. He just learned to crawl so keeping him in one place is a challenge.

Boo&BugsMom replied: Very active in and out of the womb. Since I can only compare it to our other one on the way...I'm only 4 months along...I'm not sure "how" active though. We'll see how this one is then I can just how active or inactive he was.

MommyToAshley replied: Ashley was very active in the womb. She is active now, but not hyper-active. She has a lot of energy and loves to play and do all sorts of activities. But, she can also sit and focus in school or on a book or an activity for a decent amount of time.

Oh.. I don't think she ever slept in the womb, and she hates to sleep now too. Even as a baby it was hard to get her to sleep. LOL!

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Logan was fairly laid back in utero. Now, he rarely sits down, unless I put in a movie to save my sanith.

redplaydoh replied: Both mine were pretty calm while I was pregnant... of course there would be those times I thought my stomach would turn inside out, but those were rare. In fact I didn't feel Lucas move for more than a day and at the doctors no matter how much they poked, prodded and gave me sweet stuff to drink he wouldn't budge. He's still stubborn like that today but both are quite active unlike their womb-world.

mom21kid2dogs replied: Olivia NEVER stopped moving in utero. Even when I slept she was moving. One day in the entire pregnancy she was quiet and I totally freaked out! After birth she always required far less sleep than other kids her age (still does).

My friend's kids were polar opposites in utero vs. after birth. One was a mover and shaker in and a very quiet child out. The other never moved before and never stopped after!

redchief replied: Lisa used to put her belly up against my back at night figuring if the kids were going to keep her up I was getting the same treatment. They were all active. Now, they're all pretty active, though Rick and Katie are more laid back than John and Erin. Rick used to be Mr. Energy, but he's slowed down in his twenties.

C&K*s Mommie replied: Christian was active, Kellie was not as much.

Chris and I used to play with Christian all the time in utero. That and she loved to make herself at home with feet and all in my ribs. sleep.gif

They are active absolutely. But they can sit and read or relax with me at times too.

Calimama replied: Bella moved ALLLL the time in the womb. She's just active now and she's been out for 2 1/2 months. tongue.gif

Simplebeliever replied: Abby was not active at all in the womb. I was in constant fear that her heart stopped beating. Counting fetal movements was agony to me. There was nothing wrong with her, she was just not at all active.

Abby could be considered an active baby. She has stranger anxiety and is shy around new people, but ever since she was a tiny infant if she's around my husband and I, she's non-stop movement.

ediep replied: well, Jason wasn't incredibly active int he womb, but he is a very active kid...even as a baby and toddler he was so busy and into everything!

Emma is very active int he womb, she is always awake, it seems and she keeps me up at night with her twisting anf turning. We'll soon see what type of baby she is
