backpack for preschool??

ediep wrote: this may seem like an incredibly stupid question, but do I send Jason with a backpack for preschool? I imagine he will be bringing home papers and artwork.

luvbug00 replied: I would if Mya had gone. It's Another thing you guys could have fun picking out together and going for the whole School expereance. biggrin.gif

coasterqueen replied: Oh I would wink.gif. It makes them feel special if anything. wub.gif Kylie started a preschool program at her at-home daycare in January and she would come home every day telling what she did in school. That's what she called it, school. tongue.gif So I bought her a backpack (you can find smaller ones for toddler ages) and she was so proud to take it every day. wub.gif

Josie83 replied: Cassie has this book bag thing that all of her pictures and letters and things get put in. Not that she's ever the one who carries it! rolleyes.gif laugh.gif xx

gr33n3y3z replied: I did
Made it much easier at the end of the day to bring stuff home in

ammommy replied: Alec's preschool is providing one for him (book bag), but I got him a toddler sized one for his mom's day out program this past year.

kimberley replied: yup, for extra clothes, sunscreen, art work etc... and they feel like a big kid going to school smile.gif

kit_kats_mom replied: Katherine has a denim tote bag with her name embordered on it. It works great for toting sippies, blankies & other stuff to & fro. Lauren has one too but we don't really use hers yet LOL

3_call_me_mama replied: Cameron has one. Children's place sells a small back pack that toddler size kids can carry it's like $10.99 or something. Also Kohl's had a bunch of cute ones that roll or you can carry. But yeah I would get him one or have him pick one out with you. If you wanna get real fancy LLBEAN has a kids size one that is small and you can get embroidered.

ediep replied: thanks guys!! I asked DH and he said "jason definately needs a Yankees backpack"

I found a small-ish one on ebay.

mommy_me_me replied: My little girl will be starting Pre-school in September and we went on-line and ordered her a Barbie back pack!! We got in in the mail the other day, and now she really wants to go to school!!!!!!!!!!! rolling_smile.gif

lisar replied: The school that I send my child to dont allow the pre-k students to carry them. So i dont have a choice. Although I would love to go and buy her a cute one anyways

Lisa

Insanemomof3 replied: I always wondered about this too. But if I have a choice, I am sure I will send one with them just for the fun of it. blush.gif

mummy2girls replied: i would get him one. i got jenna a little toddler sized one from walmart for her daycare. It makes her feel like a big girl because the other kids have one:) and yes they do alot of crafts at preschools. Ive taken car of kids that i took to presachool and every day they do something to bring home...

Winifred replied:
That's what I'm going to do for the twins when they go to preschool in the fall. *bites fingernails*

MommyToAshley replied: I wondered the same thing, glad you asked. I was looking at them the other day, wondering if I should get Ashley one. She already has a couple that she takes to the library, and she feels like such a big girl when she takes her back pack. But, we'll hve to get her a special one for pre-k.

Edie.... Heehee, your DH is funny. He must really love those Yankees! laugh.gif
