babyfever....

MomToMany replied: I KWYM! Ever since Kayla was 2 weeks old, I've wanted another. But we need a bigger house first which hopefully will happen next spring. We're waiting til Kayla is 1 before really trying. But I think 6 is the limit.....

They DO grow up way too fast! My oldest is 11 years old already !

Kaitlin'smom replied: well I dont have the fever like you do but I do want to hold one, I got to hold a friends 2 1/2 week old 2 weeks ago and he was so sweet, I need to go see her so i can hold him again. I love holding babies ever since my nephew was born (he will be 16 in Oct!)

and they do grow up so fast, but to be honest I am so loving this time with Kaitlin that I think a baby for us now would spoil it for me.

MommyToAshley replied: I so know what you mean. I am always torn. Part of me wants another baby and the other part of me loves to spoil Ashley with tons of attention. One day I have baby fever and the next day I enjoy the time with Ashley.

What does your DH say?

Well lately I have been telling him that I want another baby but he always says no. Today I was sitting on the couch with him and I told him that i missed my baby being little and that I wanted another one but he said no I almost cried...

DixieDarlin replied: I get baby fever every now and then but I can't have anymore so it does me no good. Plus, I'm almost 34 and I always said that I wasn't having any more kids after 30. Plus, after 4 miscarriages and 2 very rough pregnancies (could have died trying to carry and have Jacob), it wouldn't be a smart idea even if I could still get preggers.
But I have a 1 yr. old nephew that I love to pieces. I get to love on him, spoil him and GIVE HIM BACK!

I will probably be at least 30 before I get to have another ( IF DH decides he's up for the challenge ) My oldest is 28 months. I look at her every day and wonder how she grew up so fast. I don't feel like I have had her in my life long enough for her to be doing the things that she does....I feel like I should still be rocking her to sleep at night. My youngest is 4 months old, and I feel like I just brought her home from the hospital. Just yesterday she was being brought into the world, and now she rolls over, rolls around the room, and has her first tooth coming in. Where does the time go?!!?

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I have baby fever too. DH says no to more kids, though and he will get snipped next year. We are still really young and I hate for it to be so final. Just know that you will have another baby soon. For now you have lots of time to enjoy Alyssa. She is still growing and there is lots of fun to be had!!!

Take heart in the fact that you're so young- you have TONS of time for dh to come around to the idea of another baby. Try to enjoy Alyssa's babyhood for as long as you can. When another one comes, you don't really get the time to linger on all the precious moments like you do with just one.
I know how you feel about longing for a newborn. Corey will undoubtedly be my last. I'll be 40 this Dec, and while I'm quite sure I could have another if I wanted, you gotta stop sometime, kwim? It's sad, but it's something we're all gonna have to come to terms with eventually. Lucky for you, that day is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy off in the future.

Im 34 and cant have anymore, but I love to hold my friends babies, and if you dont have any new babies to hold, they usually have volunteer programs at hospitals where you can rock babies that the parents are not there...
that is if you have time for this...

At this point I will have to look forward to being a grandma in about 30 yrs! lol
