awwww - I love DH

It was sooo sweet, he does not compliment me often unless I am dressed up then he always tells me I look nice. This was so different it was out of the blue and truly sincere. Sure made my night and I tell you with that look if he could have he would have jumped me right then and there.

There must be something in the air because my Dh as been very sweet to me too and that is VERY UNUSUAL. LOL.

I remember when Olivia was 6 weeks old, I was getting ready for church. Olivia was napping so I went to the service by myself & DH stayed home with Olivia. I was getting down in weight, but not back to my normal weight (around 8 lbs. away). I had on a skirt in my regular size, a sweater & strappy sandals. I thought I looked OK, but didn't think I looked spectacular. Well, when I came home from church, DH said, "I'm not sure if I'm supposed to say things like this, but you look really good". I was floored, because DH isn't known for saying these types of things. I told him thank you & yes, he should definitely tell me when I look nice because it keeps me motivated!

A&A'smommy replied: AWWWWW that is SO sweet! I love it when dh says things like that to me.... my dh doesn't do it very often (almost never) either.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: WOW!!! That is wonderful!! My DH hardly ever compliments me out of the blue like that and he usually doesn't have 'that look' when he does. But, he is coming around! We have our 'dance night' every Saturday night in the living room. It is REALLY sweet. We tune out the kiddos for a few minutes and slow dance to one of our favorite songs. He has to ask ME to dance, though. If the kids are down....we dance the night away.
