any baseball fans here?

I was really happy for him but i love love LOVE Hank Aaron and some part of me was sorry he doesn't hold the record anymore. it's only a matter of time before ARod breaks Bonds' record. speaking of ARod and the Yankees, there was a brawl in Toronto yesterday...sometimes i really envy guys...as a woman, i could NEVER get away with fighting like that, ever.
stella6979 replied: I am a die hard baseball fan and I'll be honest and say that I don't think Barry Bonds deserves to be in the record books.
Kaitlin'smom replied: I like the minors, not big on the majors the games to me are not much fun, but then again I was not to happy about the whole strike thing......
cameragirl21 replied: how come? just curious. hmmm, there aren't many baseball fans here i suppose so let's play a little game...for those of us who love baseball. list your fave players and the ones you can't stand. i'll go first. i love: derek jeter arod mariano rivera jorge posada mike mussina torii hunter gary sheffield robbie cano i'm sure there are more but that is all i can think of right now i can't stand: jose canseco--retired, i know, but still i can't stand him pedro martinez big papi manny ramirez again, i'm sure there are more but that is all i can think of right now.
stella6979 replied: Because of his steroid use. He can deny it all he wants, but nobody gets that big on their own.
stella6979 replied: Well my one and only is Carlos Guillen, but I also like Curtis Granderson, Placido Polanco, Craig Monroe. Oh who am I kidding, any of the Detroit Tigers are my favs. And I can't stand Barry Bonds.
cameragirl21 replied: i am totally against steroids. the question is this, though--do you think that without steroids he'd be less of a home run hitter? or do you feel that steroid use should disqualify him on the spot? obviously the roids help but plenty of athletes juice and they don't break the home run record. idk, i agree that his denial is a load of cr@p but i think that if it is PROVEN that he's been juicing then he should lose that record title because it's not honest. i am curious why bud selig isn't doing more to find out if it's true...plenty of heat on giambi for the same reason.
grapfruit replied: See I like baseball (we watch the Reds, hey we're in Ohio people!) but I don't watch enough of it to know people's names...when I was a kid I did though.
Like: Ryan Freel Edwin Encarnation (I know that's spelled wrong) Mike Piazza (b/c he's hot, that's so dumb I know) Bronson Aroyle and maybe others
Dislike: Adam Mr. Always Swing for the Wall Dunn and probably others, but I can't think of them right now...
stella6979 replied: I honestly think the steroids are the reason he's hit so many homeruns, but obviously I can't say for certain. All I know is they suspended Nefi Perez for 80 games due to a medication he had taken for ADHD. Something that was prescribed to him. I personally feel that every player should be tested for steriods and those who test positive should be done.
TheOaf66 replied: it is a joke, being that he had to cheat to do it, and I don't believe that "allegedly" crappola, he is juiced and I hope he is held out of the hall of fame for it
cameragirl21 replied: from what i read last season, they started random testing, as in, any player can be handed a cup at any time and told to pee in it. the results have consequences if the juice is there. i think random testing is the best way to do it. the thing is, often you can tell, look how big jason giambi is...that is done by one thing only--juice.
TheOaf66 replied: the problem is because of the juice, we'll never know if he was that good or not
stella6979 replied: Exactly!
My3LilMonkeys replied: Totally agree!
I'm a big baseball fan with no particular favorite players or teams. I favor both the Yankees and the Red Sox (either group of fans would likely ostracize me for liking the opposing team ) and I do like Johnny Damon, but he was cuter with the scruff.
Calimama replied: I like the Astro's. Everybody thinks I'm crazy but whatever, they don't have to be winners to be great.
luvmykids replied: I don't watch a ton of baseball other than our minor league team but I do like the Padres, LOVE Jeter, and am on the fence on Bonds. On one hand, I don't know that the steroids are the only reason he broke the record, JMHO I think there's a chance he could have done it anyway. On the other hand, they're illegal therefore with or without the record he should be found out and punished.
Our Lil' Family replied: ME TOO! They were great a couple years ago!!
Calimama replied: I must say you have GREAT taste.
Sam & Abby's Mom replied: Hockey fan, here. Baseball is just too s - l - o - w for me
luvmykids replied: You would never make it at my house....we watch a lot of golf
I like hockey too.
