My2Beauties replied: I would let them have what they want while they are sick to make sure they are at least getting something in their little body! Just my opinion!
5littleladies replied: When my kids are sick I let them eat whatever they want (within reason of course  ). Sometimes when you are sick there are things that just aren't palatable-Believe me, I'm an expert on this.

booey2 replied: I totally agree with all of the above posts, we have had too many sicknesses here not to let them eat what they want when they are sick otherwise I would have some really skinny boys here. (With in reason of course)

Does this apply for grown-ups too? Cuz I tend to eat a lot of comfort food and junk food when I'm sick.  Except for when I have the flu... then all I can eat is Noodle Soup. mmmm....

I know.. it's terrible.  It's the worst when I have a sore throat cuz I eat tons of ice cream. 
coasterqueen replied: I tend to try to get her to eat what I've cooked but she ends up getting daddy to let her have what she wants. But for us that's not just when she's sick it's all the time! He's such a ham the way he gives in to her. It drives me crazy.

kit_kats_mom replied: I'm a sucker for a sick kid. K gains queen like status around the house when she's ill, even surpassing my powers. It all goes back to normal when she's better though.
