You're going to laugh when I tell you how I - broke my ....

Boys r us wrote: foot last night! I went to the seafood market and got some scallops and jumbo shrimp for Rick to eat for dinner last night and I got home and was cooking it, deeping frying some hushpuppies and onion petels and baking potatoes..sauteeing the scallops and steaming the shrimp...baking a pizza for the boys, you know just a regular betty crocker, haa..When the shrimp was done, I put it in a bowl and went to put them in the freezer b/c Rick likes to eat his shrimp cold. Well, there was no room in the freezer so I was rearranging the stuff in the freezer and I went to push something around on the top shelf and a big 6 pound thing of frozen, hard as a rock hamburger came tumbling out and landed right on the top of my foot. It felt like someone took a hammer and just beat the top of my foot with it!!! I couldn't move my foot, I couldn't even put pressure down on my heal or lightly touch my foot to the floor..so I knew I was in trouble..plus I couldn't move my 3 middle toes. Soooo...being that it was just Brae and I b/c Rick and Tanner weren't home yet, I just stood there, crying and finished cookinig dinner!
Rick got home like 10 minutes later and Braedon went running outside saying..."daddy mommy is hurt bad..she can't move" I know THAT freaked rick out!!! He thought I was like passed out or something. Anyhow, a long night it was with Dr's and waiting and ice and elevation! But I broke 2 of the bones on the top of my foot..with a pack of hamburger...I dread going back to work monday...talk about grief! I'm going to get some once everyone finds out I was attacked by frozen hamburger!

LOL don't feel to badly about how you did it though. I once broke my foot standing on the side on my bathtub trying to kill a spider. It started crawling towards me and I jumped and stepped back and fell and landed wrong. ok I have to go crawl under a rock now.

Boys r us replied: It's not in a cast cast, I refused b/c we're going on vacation to the beach in 2 weeks..I WILL get in the water! So it's just one of those foot things, like a strap on cast if that makes sense! they are tiny bones across the top of my foot, so they will heal quickly, but my god it hurts so bad!
