Yesterday went well - for the most part

We got almost everything done for getting the new house. Now it's the waiting game to see if they accept our loan application. We got all of the carpet and wallcoverings picked out, the countertops, and all the options we want. I'm almost getting excited, but don't want to get my hopes too high. I hate disappointment. We should know in about 2 weeks whether or not they will do the loan. We do have a back-up bank that might do it too, so we have another option if this one doesn't work.

O-M-G, Hannah sure was a little terror while we were there! It was awful, she kept running around everywhere, getting into things, and just being so awful. Ethan was good, and so was Kayla. Hannah even got into one guy's office and started playing on the computer ! We are NEVER bringing her there again. They probably think we are awful parents! But it was a 3 hour drive there ONE-WAY, so I guess that could contribute for her "energy" .

No, we're not building. We're getting a new double wide manufactured house. We are living in a tiny, 16x80 single wide right now. This house will be double the size!

ahhh okay, those are nice, my MIL has one. They have come along way. So will it be out on your lot, or a new one?

It will be on our land. We have 60 acres here. It's going to go where our current house is. It's going to be a rough week if we get it! No water, sewer, or Internet!!! I'll be going crazy!!! But if it means a brand new house, it's worth it!!

Sounds like you DEFINITELY need something bigger,since you guys have a nice size family!

Those are really nice places... my mom adn her hubby are staying in a single wide that my grandparents own......

WOW thats a big property.....will you keep the one you have and move it to another part of the property or get rid of it?

My MIL had 12 acres and I thought that was a lot, she bought more but I am not sure how much she has now but you still have her beat, they needed more for the cows

LOL, no cows here, just lots of hunting land for DH!

We're trading in our old house. We'll probably only get about $10,000 for it . It's still in great shape. It was made in 1996, so it's a newer one, not an old junky one.
